can't argue with your lead diagnoses though one thing I would add, compare them both after 10 years of use and I feel confident in saying the Honda would've held up better.

No one of them passed 10 years old. You can't address like that.

@@ferfilano8601 yes, not a good measure of course. I recently bought the new lead for a city round around after owning the SCR, predecessor of lead, for almost 14 years and it's still going strong.

@@RiccardoPelc SCR is very good because it come from Honda China. But Lead come from Honda Vietnam, it's quality is not good :D It down after 3-5 years :D

You missed the fuel tank of Grande. It's more easier to refill than Lead. You just need to push a button.

Hi Jon, thanks for this video. I have been contemplating buying a Yamaha Grande Hybrid and your video has assured that I am right in my choice for travelling around HCMC. But one important burning question, even though it is meant to be a shopping cart, is it possible for people (who are 1.73m / 70kg) to actually do the Saigon - Hanoi road trip with Yamaha Grande or an automatic bike? I have watched other youtube presenters riding Yamaha Grande from Saigon to Can Tho and around Hanoi and it was very fuel efficient and fast.

I see no reason why not.
I actually wonder why more people don't head off on the journey with automatic scooters. They are very convenient for the job.

If Honda lead use 12 inch rims on rear wheel, it should be better looking.

Honda Lead is not meant for Grande, the counterpart of Grande is the Honda Genio 125 not the Lead
