It looks like your shades on the John Lewis table lamps are fitted incorrectly as the shades are moving and sound wobbly, you need to take the bulb out and lift the shade off you will find a cap to unscrew off put the shade back on and use the cap to screw down the lampshade and replace bulb.reference the John Lewis instructions x
