I think they only covered the enemies that are on the Dragon’s Dogma 2 wiki, as the Sphinx and Medusa aren’t on there yet. In all the previews and trailers I’ve seen, I’ve personally picked out three monsters not currently listed on the wiki, so they are likely hiding more for release

That’s it? DD1 had a CRAZY amount of enemies. Where’s the Hydra? The Cockatrice? DEATH? Hell they even had Dire Wolves.
Why does the enemy variety feel so half assed? Bet it’s all gonna be DLC.
mind you these are the creatures he said he knew of. I've already encountered monsters he didn't mention.

I think variety looks good. Add in bandits or enemies that use vocations and it seems like a nice amount. Just hope there are unique bosses.
if you havent played the first def play before it still holds up and is a great primer for this new one
I say skip the first one else you will be burned out on DD and that will ruin your experience of the second one. Second one is a great starting point
Little did we know, this was pretty much it. This games enemy Variety feels somehow worse than in Dragons Dogma 1 imo.
As a huge fan of the original, this just looks like a remaster which isn’t a terrible thing, but I was hoping for a bit more newer enemies. Although this is just a preview so I’m hopeful
12 years later 4x the map and it has the same amount of enemies as DD1 and 90% of them are copied from DD1 like how is that acceptable? They should copy DD1 enemies and add 20 new enemy types on top of them. Performance the MTX no enemy variety my god this game is such a let down.
@@Zztp0p all of what you said is factual, I’ve only seen 3 new enemies and the combat looks the exact same as the original lmao but let’s just call it a remaster and have fun with it haha definitely gonna wait for the sale tho💀

The Talos I am not excited for tbo. Seems like one of those cutscene scenarios where you’re forced to do it to progress through the storyline. Kinda like Hydra scene and the Ox cart going to Gran Soren in the first one. That shit too like 20-30 minutes just to complete.
Looks like a Monster Hubter siege fight... But in an entirely single player game. The only enjoyable thing about those siege fights was coordinating with a group.

Needs a Goblin King or something, maybe half the size of an ogre and spiders, giant spiders!!!!! and a huge ass 3 headed freaking dog and a half goat half woman monster like the one in witcher 3 wild hunt and yass big as well 😅

@@amirfirdaus8970 you can kinda also tell by the art and deductive reasoning. He looks human. He doesn't target the player. He is specifically said to attack a city in which case you need to stop him. The crystals you break on him have pink tips and mainly are purple with black shadows. That's the same exact thing and colors of the necklace of the main human king that's a false arisen.

Ah yes everyone wants to know major spoilers, thanks for letting us know.
There are faaaar more than 21 in Dragons Dogma 2, even played Dark Arisen beforehand (again) for some 80h or so to have a direct comparison. You just took the monsters from the loading screen and not even all of them like the Medusa or Sphinx. There are also many types of the same enemies, so there is a variety.
So listen guys, ALL the monsters (not bosses, like Death from BBI etc.) from DD1 are in it, and then some new additions, which are plenty imo. First and foremost they need to optimize the game, but all in all this game is really good.
This was made before the game released lmao.
After viewing circulated footage, I can confidently say that the game looks entertaining and enchanting. However, I am extremely dissatisfied with the absence of clothing options available. It is unfathomable that the developers have enriched the character creation process while simultaneously diminishing the immersive experience by dispossessing the option to choose diverse clothing and armor pieces for different parts of the characters body . This is an unseemly development decision in my opinion, but whatever.
Bruh nobody wants to run around role playing a peasant, if you wanna be a npc go play freakin farm simulator or the sims you muppet
I already uninstalled it and went back to the first game. The world is 4X bigger but the enemies do not seem that much grander, it often feels like there's less. You can't walk 10 ft without an enemy encounter, so exploration is extremely tedious. The combat's not as good because you're restricted to one weapon class, so each character has far less moves, plus there is no way to hot key items.
Your inventory fills up in extremely fast, and your followers are beyond annoying. They say the most pointless stuff over and over, and it's far worse than the first game because they comment on the most ridiculous things, they never stop talking. You can't walk past a single stranger without someone stopping you, and they randomly start telling you why you should recruit them. It's probably the biggest disappointment ever. The graphics aren't even really that much better, it actually looks more blurry.
Skyrim is 90% bandits and it's still one of the greatest RPGs of all time.
