Thanks buddy, I completely agree, especially their older gear. The new stuff however is debatable. I think these early 90's sounds still hold up pretty well for everyday use.
Awesome! I also own a XP-30 and it is one of my all time favorite synths. The built-in expansion cards and the extra sounds make this a keyboard that cannot be Duplicated. I prefer the XP keyboards vs the newer ones that lack intensity and warmth of the XP-30. I also have the rack version of this keyboard, the JV-1010. This keyboard is Timeless. Again, Awesome performance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Este es un tremendo synthe muy muy bueno es el ultimo que salio de la serie XP trae todos los sonidos del xp80 le quitan secuenciador y en compensacion lo dotaron de tres maravillosas tarjetas de expancion haciendolo un gran equipo con sonidos para perderse y de gran calidad
I still have an XP-30 too. Mine has an Orchestral II card in the expansion D slot.
They're lovely synths. And they also have a very capable synth engine.
Glad to hear, the XP-30 remains my favorite from all the XP-series and is still great to play on. Keep it out of the sunlight and you will enjoy it for many years!

I still regret that I sold away my XP 80 & 30 . But latest Flagship Fantom sieris (not fantom 0 or other) gave total collection of all the historical Roland sounds with much easier user interface. So cannot deny that Roland give away XP legacy. Quality & reliability still there with Flagship unit.
I understand your regrets, the XP's are just fenomenal, but I also agree that the Fantom offers great quality and lots of sounds as well.
The DAC circuit of modern Roland sound worse than XP. Even if the ROM is the same, the sound quality is not as good as XP.

I use to own D50 looking into buying another one right now and XP-30
XP-30 has many sounds, you could also have a look at the newer Fantom.

Probably lots of familiar Roland sounds, but I cannot say for sure.

I don't have either, but so far what I've heard from CZcams demoes,
personally I like the layered patches in Rolands more an individual (non-layered) patches from Yamaha.
