    I agree. If the turning away is an attempt to evade an imminent attack it should not be penalized. That rule should apply when an individual turns his back as a general shield against any attack at all. A specific, single spin away, and return to face-forward is not the same at all.

    mollet got it for turning away from the opponent exposing his back which is not allowed to be hit. they sharpened the rules on such things at the wtc07

    you are right, if you can get away by quickly turning and you could not have been hit anyway you shouldn't get a kyongo imho!

    Exactly, you wouldn't get a kyongo for a spin kick either although temporary exposing the back ;)
