Bro, this is amazing! The artwork on your pedestal is sick. And it's not about having a big space. It's taking the space you have and making it your own. And that's exactly what you did. With that said, this is definitely a great setup. The way you rotate your tv....sheesh. That is so sick bro. You definitely can't do that with the Megacade.

And everything you said about David is so true. Customer service is Triple A. Hard to come across great customer service in 2020. So when you're spending this kinda money, great customer service is a must.

Until I saw your vid, I haven't seen the whole rotating tv. That'scrazy! Then everything else about the machine itself is just like that of the Megacade. Just a 2 player unit.

@@81CUTLASSON24 yeah most definitely. That is something I'll NEVER be able to do with the Megacade. So that's definitely an advantage the Pedestal has over the big brother. I'm sure a lot more people will come your way as more and more people see your video. I didn't know there was such a strong interest in home arcade machines bro. It's very well populated.

I think if I were to buy a multi arcade I would definitely purchase Extreme Arcade. There are a lot of companies that build Arcade games but Extreme Arcade is really complete.

@@81CUTLASSON24 sorry if this has already been asked. Do the light guns work well? Many people seem to have issues with the different light guns constantly needing adjustments on other systems that some people make. Also could we ask what this cost??

Thanks a lot thanks for looking at my video you know I went back and forth deciding what I wanted to do and for my space the pedestal just works so much better If you see in the video and in my new video which is already on CZcams I show you how my screen rotates and some games that i actually play using that function I don't use it a ton but I use it enough for it to be worth having.
I'm deciding if I want a Megacade or a Pedestal from these guys. Just trying to do my homework before making my choice. Both have their merits. I'm old school and naturally lean towards the arcade machines, but also am keeping in mind comfort/mobility + ease of moving should I ever need to do so. This video gave me a bit of insight. @@JustinH201 I wanted a 4-player too but my setup wouldn't allow me to have it... the extra controllers is a huge huge help and the cool thing about it they don't have to be right by the arcade they can be behind me by the bar as long as I can see the screen.

Well I had all my wires and everything behind the pedestal I have an outlet right behind it and an outlet conduit for my HDMI cables through the wall to go to the TV and the mount I found on Amazon. Thanks 😊

Im in process of making my own arcade and watching the way they do theirs is very interesting having seen both version (pedestal vs megacade) both ways are so very interesting im thinking about it myself. I would probably in the futur would be looking to buy this just for their complete setup, Its so clean and mostly for its content its impressive imo.

Tight video man!! Loving the vert TV screen for shmups. That's inspired me to look into a bracket that handle that. Recommendation? I got my 4 player in November and have been enjoying it. TBH I've had quite a few errors, rocket launcher problems, corrupted files and other issues. David has always been quick to help tho and I've tackled most of them. I got the new hd recently and been getting it right where I want it. The old hd still works with this new boot btw ..so it's a good backup or if you like a previous version better. Us pedestal guys gotta stick together lol. Subscribed. 👍✌️

I got my vertical/horizontal mount from Amazon really cheap I think it was only 30 bucks well worth the money. What kind of issues have you been running into with rocket launcher? Is it caused by the new update to the Windows 10? Also thanks for letting me know that the other hard drive will still work when I purchase my upgrade I purchased another SSD and the big 10 terabyte as well even though I have a ssd from Dave that I upgraded from my previous small regular hard drive.
It's not exactly related to the windows 10 update. Just some corrupted files, missing paths, and virtual drive errors I was getting. Why they happened I've never got a clear answer from Dave TBH. He has helped me correct them tho as rocket launcher is the front end and launches all the emulators on hyperspin. The reality is that it is a computer and sometimes u just have issues. Example... pinball fx3 was not launching and I was getting weird error. Dave found that windows 10 was seeing the exe as a virus and it was preventing it from launching. Stuff like that. Sega Saturn wasn't launching either and it was a simple fix in the files. I still can't get model3 games to launch in this new HD and they run fine on my old HD. After trying to fix it back and forth he agreed I should just send it in so he can fix the error hands on. Sega generations doesn't launch, yars revenge doesn't launch etc. I've been logging any issues so he can fix them . I'm sure you will encounter some. Sorry for the longwinded reply. ✌️
@@ReubensLair I just need to know what to look for I should be getting my hard drive back sometime this week so if I can find out what some of the problems are before he sends it out tomorrow that's the better for me.
@@81CUTLASSON24 I would just wait and get the hard drive in your hands as it could just be an isolated issue. When you get it just go down from game/ emulator to another and see if you have any issues as I have. I talk with Scantron and few other owners and they seem to be running ok. This is awesome, thanks for sharing - just subscribed! I'm literally going through building your setup right now from scratch with I guess a competitor. Game Room Solutions -Pedestal. I finished the design and just the but pedestal together and now time to start all the wiring one a 4-player, 4 way, spinner, trackball, led setup. Def a project to tackle while SiP is in effect in MI. I wanted to ask what TV and also which mount you purchased? Does your mount tilt as well as flip from portrait to landscape? I.E for a mimic of pinball setup? Happy to share pics if interested.
That's awesome man thanks for checking out my video my Mount does not tilt it only rotates I got it off of Amazon it looks like a circle bracket that is fairly reasonable I think I only pay like 30 bucks for it the TV that I have is a Vizio V series 50 inch it is 4K which does have issues when using certain emulators and games on arcade systems so you'll have to find a way to make it 1080p for it to work correctly I just use my Xbox One S HDMI output to mimic the 1080P and it works for me very well.

I'm also speaking with HyperArcade for the game setup - debating between them and Extreme Home Arcade software. I'm going balls out with a 24TB setup and building my own PC based of Pauls Hardware channel. Never done any of this before or built my own computer. Definitely a fun project so far after teaching my self photoshop to design the arcade images. What vid did you watch to setup the game in landscape or portrait? Or any tips on how to do it?

@@brianc8103 it was all about space for me ... I'm a big fighter games guy so the 2 player was perfect for me and the controllers are a perfect compromise. I've played 4 player games a lot on my pedestal.. 2 on the panel and 2 on controllers and its all the same fun.

Its very sturdy my man this thing is built very very very well I've had party's here where we have 4 players leaning and it doesn't budge there's casters at the bottom of it with wheels to move around and you can adjust them to where it stays put.

@@vica3451 got it off of Amazon there's a bunch of different ones out there the one I got is like a circle plate with a built-in leveler and it was really inexpensive I think like 30 or 40 bucks.

hi man when did you order Pedestal which month you receive it which month. did you have tracking numbers
It was ordered April of 2018 delivered November 2018 and yes they will provide tracking and it comes very very well packaged but definitely look it over before the delivery people leave in case there is some damage. Tracking was provided the day it left their shop.

Whats the difference between your system and the Retro Boy Arcade System other than the price? Retro Boy is way cheaper.
Well there are a lot of differences between the 2 my man if you only want 20,000 or if you want 75,000 games (and growing) and life time updates oh yea I forgot to mention you can add your steam account also. We have a lot of options available from gameboxes to megacade's. Sure there cheaper and if that's what you can afford then absolutely go for it but if your looking for the ultimate arcade system then look no further than Extremehomearcades.com my man.

Its a vizio e series with Dolby vision and 4K unfortunately the arcade pedestal doesn't like the 4K so I actually have my arcade HDMI pass-through my Xbox One S then to the TV to make it 1080p.
Chris Carson I run my pedestal directly through an older Sony XBR 52 inch 1080p so I guess back to the future works best for the hdmi hookup

The sound is amazing there's a sub on the inside that gives it some great bass and the 2 speakers on the outside are awesome 👌👏🏾

The wall mount on using is to say 360 wall mount from Amazon and my HDMI cables are ran inside of my wall tol my TV which is super easy to do with a kit and Lowe's

Awesome setup Chris and I appreciate your video. Do you have any tips for ordering? I sent in my custom order sheet via the Extremehomearcades.com website about a month ago and so far I've received no reply. Everyone raves about customer service but I'm having a hard time just getting my order started. I also hit them up on FB about a week after I sent in my order and they replied that they would get back to me shortly but still nothing. Any ideas? Maybe they are completely swamped.
Yes Mike that's exactly what it is currently they are back ordered up until the first part of 2021 so unfortunately they wouldn't even get started until either the end of the year or beginning of the year what you can do is just give Dave a call and leave a message and let him know that you got your order sheet in and to contact you as soon as possible.
So do you have the light bar for the guns mounted on the pedastal? Does it stay there during use or do you have to move it?
Actually my light bar sensor is mounted on my TV what you see on my pedestal there is the Dolphin bar for the Wii I usually keep it there when I'm playing games for the Wii it's never in the way.
