I love the fact they bought a used tiny and were able to make it their own. There are lots of wonderful tiny's on the market now that need new homes!!
Thank you so much! It's a continuous work in process and that brings us joy. We are definitely all about second hand and being environmentally conscious here. xx
@@blackbiirdfly ❤ We Love The Multiple fundamental principles You all exude.

We Are looking out for any potential updates. 😊😅
What a great couple..love how they artisticly compliment one another with their talents & interests. They have created a wonderful space for themselves and pup, Otis. Extra special that their tiny house is in the spot his grandmother lived. I lived in Franklin, TN..very near Primm Springs. My daughter still in Franklin and was considering adding a tiny house to her property. The loan issue difficult and also zoning. Nice tour..thank you, Jenna.
This is so, so kind of you to say. We feel very lucky to have each other and this home. It’s a dream we talked about on our first date and the way it’s all come to fruition through some really hard seasons has been a beautiful thing. We know how tricky it is for Franklin and that county. We went through some of that as well. Thank you for watching! 🤍 Sara, Keenan, and Otis 🐾
I love the idea of the virtual movie club! It's a great way to keep in touch with your friends and have something to discuss that didn't include the woes of the world.
Weeeell, there was plenty of discussion there while going through our Sci-Fi list, ha! But yes, Keenan has a huge passion for throwing events and bringing people together. We had fun with it!
Very nice! The two brought something special to this experience. He, the land it sits on, she, the ability to finance the home. They have added their unique touches to complete the experience. Plus, having Otis just makes it complete!
We definitely believe it was all meant to be. xx
As a senior in Washington State, I'm obsessed with Tiny Homes. I already live in a double wide in a senior park and it's WAY too big for me! I have a living room I never go into and a bathroom (one of two) that is simply a place for my Maine Coon's cat box. It's silly. So, here in WA --- WHERE TO PUT THE TINY HOME? That's the problem. So frustrating.
My hubs and I use to live in Washington State🙂 we live on the Oregon Coast now and have a 37 foot travel trailer that we have remodeled, it our "Tiny (last name)". There is one place on the coast that is a Tiny Home and Vintage trailer community. You are right though, there aren't places to have Tiny homes unless you have some land. These kids here were able to do all this because of family. Not everyone is that lucky. My hubs and I do love this minimal life we live, so much less to clean!! We rent on a lady's land and are saving to hopefully purchase our own land. I hope you can get your dreams!!
@Vicki K. Don't give up, as so many are choosing to live tiny & minimally, I believe many opportunities are going to start picking up! I know many people who want to buy land & property specifically for people to put their tiny homes on & live communally! Give it a year or two & keep searching ads locally! Best wishes 👍🩷🙏
I’m jealous you have a Mainecoon 😁
@@kiwigirljacksm jealous the Mainecoon has it's own bathroom! 🤣 JK. My cats had their own closet in the master that had a his and hers setup. If I didn't have the extra closet, they would have had their own bathroom. I miss those little guys.
Beautiful home and something that provides shelter, peace of mind and tranquility is an Absolute blessing!🙏
Very nice! I love the stairs. Most are just straight up, but their stairs has an "L" shape to it. The outside storage area is also much nicer than a lot that I have seen. Very nice!
Love the multi-purpose room! Would have liked to see more of the kitchen (is there anything tucked under/into the stairs opposite the sink?), and living space, to see any multi-purpose furniture or storage... But you've really done a lovely job of making this tiny YOUR home. 👏 Enjoy❣️
She showed the whole kitchen
Very cool story esp tie in with family land etc…thank you
Is it weird that I LOVE those olive green platform boots she had in the closet??? Lol out of everything to take away from one of these episodes this is mine😁really wish I could find some like that!!!

Such a beautiful home!!! And what a cool, chill couple 🌷
I love your home and glad you both found happiness living there. I have been wanting a tiny house for a few years now and find it difficult to find someone to finance also. Hopefully companies will figure out a way for people to get their dream homes. I won’t give up until I own one. Bless your family
Beautiful tiny home and such a sweet couple (and pup!)
I love that "...perpetual state of coziness..." That is what your home looks like to me, apart from the recalcitrant appliances. :/ Great fb buy!
Very nice Tiny home, I especially like the fact that it does have a flushable toilet 😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That's a really nice tiny home! How lovely that they were able to find it online!
Nice people, nice surroundings, nice support… hoping they have a lovely good life!
How super cool! Made to look and feel so cozy thru the camera lens! I love it!
Thank you, friend! Didn't see your username at first! :)

Beautiful home, cute doggie, best of luck to all of you.😊
I like the home. Mr. Otis is a cutie.
Much happiness to you both!! I’m glad you got the financing and I hope the banking industry gets with the times soon.
Thanks Renee! It's been a few years since we went through that and I'm hoping with the popularity of alternative living that boomed over the last few years, that it's an easier process for those interested! Tennessee loves to make things more difficult than need be. ;)
Very nice tiny home. I never even considered looking at FB marketplace for a tiny home. I love how they made it their own.
Absolutely adorable home!.. and you two are adorable as well! Lovely tiny house. I really liked the little office area. Shocked to see how large the loft area is! You did an impressive job making a beautiful home!
Thank you for sharing❤
Thank you so much! Our home has been a continual work in progress but we love it so much. The loft is even bigger than it appears on camera! :) Thanks for watching!
Awesome starseed vibes, love your tiny and gardens!
Very nice! This was definitely a " meant to be" find and purchase for you! You've done a great job making it your own. I don't think there's anything better than living tiny. (I also have the Yellow Submarine mug. Lol) Thanks for the great tour! 🌙💫
Would love to see this in the Summer 🌻🌼🌸🌺🪷🥀🌹🌷💐🌾
It's so lovely in the summer!
Wonderful home and location. To solve to water pressure problem, a captive air tank could to placed where to water is coming to the tiny house. This stores water under pressure so when water is being used in home you have good pressure
. It also saves the life of the water pump where the well/spring is, especially since it is providing water for two homes pump is getting alot of use. Wishing all the best to this charming couple and their precious doggie.

"We live in a perpetual state of coziness" 💖
I used to do housekeeping for a company that rented out tiny homes and those beds are so hard to make lol. Especially the ones with two lofts.
I would think that it would be. I think I would want a bed that is normal.
Yeaaah, I prefer a messy unkempt bed so it works out for us! ☺️ We just chose to tidy up a bit, ha.

Beautiful home!
Love this house and the John Prine lyrics on the wall.
Big John Prine fan here :)
Very nice home with a nice lay out and personalization. Nice outdoor areas too. Hope you eventually work out the stove situation.
It is puzzling as to why the stove is glued in place. Could it just be adhering to the finish on the countertop?
Thank you so much! We got hit with a crazy storm the morning of filming and every fall leaf left in our area ended up in our yard! :) We should start seeing blooms in the next few weeks and can't wait! And it's actually the oven that's in need of repair--- we realize the editing makes it sound like it's completely unusable but the stovetop works perfectly. We believe it's the cooling fan or motor and that's pretty intimidating when using propane. It's likely just the adhesive as suggested below but solid enough that we can't get it off ourselves which is what the manufacturer suggested. We just haven't made the time to resolve it yet with a (trusted) handyman.
@@blackbiirdflyIt would be nice to see in summer too. I really love the shape of the front deck coupled with the large natural garden. The back deck for entertaining is also special and all of it is in the rural context making it especially nice.
@@lorimav Thank you! We designed the front deck to work alongside a small garden that contains our water line so that we could easily access it if need be. And the back deck is a work in progress but we wanted to create a large space for entertaining. :)
Amen to being off grid in Tennessee. I'm about 1 hour half past Knoxville. Glad to see your video. Peace from Tennessee. 🐾🐾🐈 🐦🐂 🐃

Lovely house! Great video. Btw I bet those cameras would look terrific in a corner shelf system .
Yes! That's exactly what I was thinking! :
Nice tiny!!!
Hummmmm, that office nook....thinking about that...thank you.
there are a few videos out there of tiny home communities. but it might be a good series to do that state by state. also tiny home manufacturers. great video and i look forward to more :)
Any owner of a tiny home lucky enough to establish their home on land they or their family owns is the exception to the majority of tiny homeowners. Senior citizens are in need of alternatives to their larger homes and would love to have a smaller living space, but the government of cities and states refuse to allow these homes on property, even if you own it! By the time these laws are changed, many of us will no longer be around.
I LIVE IN A 400 SQ.FEET FLAT. LOVE IT BECAUSE ITS MY OWN. NO LOAN & BILLS TO PAY. LIVING ROOM & KITCHEN TOGETHER. BED ROOM & A STORE ROOM. SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL SOMETIMES.
That's ALOT of help! 😎
Very good presentation, thank you for sharing now you financed and adapted to tiny living, stove, toilet etc. I love the idea of the back deck, and I wonder if you could put a door to reach it at the end of the stairs where I see a folding table. That would expand even more your space. I find you tv a bit high but if you like it that way , fine. I love the simple and light decor, feels spacious and airy.
Thank you! Naturally, there is a ton of our story that didn't make the video but we wanted to show some of the realistic hurdles we've faced as the secondary owners. And it's been a pipe dream since we moved in about where we could add a back door to extend out on the back! Our wheel well sits there so we've contemplated a tiny step up and out, if that makes sense. Being the secondary owners, we do not have the blueprints and there which has made certain projects much more difficult or intimidating. The TV also came with the house so was already mounted but it's actually a perfect height for our couch. Thanks for watching!
Good info about TN loans concerning tiny homes
its honestly really sad.. not just for TN but for loans in general.. and its just another reason people shouldnt put all their faith in them... its sad because of things like wording they couldnt figure out what to do.. your a bank and these are customers asking for a loan.. it should be as simple as going in and getting it approved.. it goes into an account in your name in that bank anyway.. so run the credit and check all that but its still shouldnt be as difficult as any bank makes it out to be.. im glad their mom had the money to lend them for it though because it turned out great
Would have been so very helpful if you would have shared the cost of your home from Facebook market place.
You have made it very lovely. Well done ! 😀
They said it was 70k
@@NoseyFloridaGirl Yes, her Mommy financed it.
Sara here! We touched a lot on this subject during the interview about how it came to be & how we’re basically “renting to loan” (we’re over halfway there! 🎉 )
but a lot was edited down, naturally. My grandmother passed & we were fortunate enough to use the selling of her house to purchase after months of issues with financing. But yes, flowers to my mother for making this happen during a difficult season. ☺️

Would like to see a step by step from buying a Tinyhome/ Container home, and doing work turning it into an off-grid Tiny home!
There are videos of those. Do a search on utube.
My dream.
I love your home. Sorry about your stove, and hope there will be resolution soon! I really want to live similarly, on a small parcel of land in a tiny house, with lots of pets! Too bad the financing companies are still in the dark about these wonderful homes🤯Guess it won’t be easy for me!
Good luck to you! It definitely depends on the area you are in and how you go about purchasing or building but there's always a way. Keep in mind, we bought this back in 2019 and things have likely changed a little. :)
I would like to hear from all these people how they feel during severe weather and tornado warning. That would be my concern nr 1 in those houses
Considering that we are in that situation today with hurricane force winds blowing through, I'd be happy to share! It's a huge concern for us that we don't take likely as we have two big trees on each side of our home and feel exposed to straight line winds on our property. We're planning to anchor it down this spring. For us, we are fortunate that we have family on the property as well as nearby that we usually hunker down with during storms, just for the peace of mind. We also have home insurance in case of anything detrimental.
@@blackbiirdfly are you planning to build any kinds shelters under or connected to houses?
very nice indeed......question: do you not have cold winters? it wouldn't take much to freeze that water pipe going to the heater.
We definitely have cold winters here! (Not so much this season...) We have our water line buried deep and the exposed pipes are wrapped in insulation. When the exterior cabinet is closed, it traps in heat and is protected and hasn't caused an issue. We also try and drip on the coldest nights just to be safe. We've only had a handful of times where that's been an issue and either the cabinet was open and moisture froze or when our insulation on the exposed pipe got cut open by a weed eater without our knowledge.
This is definitely inching towards trailer park quality
Hey whatever your name is ☺️ Thanks for checking out our video of our home. I will say I really don’t appreciate your trailer park comment there. Not only does it make you seem like a complete jerk, but how would you feel if someone got a closer look at your home or personal space and made that kind of judgment? I don’t think you’d take too kindly to it. I understand social media maintains a kind of anonymity with users who like to make comments such as yours, but remember we’re all real people here, and I guarantee you wouldn’t have the gall to say that to someone’s face should that encounter happen in person.
So I’m hoping for you some time for reflection today on how you represent yourself to the rest of the world and how you treat others, and hopefully you can find some clarity in that.
Have a nice day. ☺️
Forget this house...I want an Otis.
He's a crowd favorite. :)
Value Opinions that may assist with Financing are available at NOAH!
Your home is beautiful. I was guessing the price to be 120-130k. What a bargain you found. Did the seller identify the builder? Happy life to you both!
A brass headboard would be a natural for this loft.
Hmm 🤔 composting toilets or the matter obviously degrade and breakdown so as long as you're using the proper toilet paper and preferably a biodegradable trash bag.. it will breakdown in a landfill. If it's NOT your cup of tea that's fine but it most certainly isn't something that cannot be "dealt with". As for water pressure, I'd advise buying a pressure tank or accumulator... they come in various sizes, I have a 10 gallon? one that probably ran me $55 bucks, I have constant pressure off my 12v pump.
How did you do the virtual movieclub ? Would love to that?
He compiled lists of different genres of films and then we took turns choosing one for each virtual viewing. We created a group chat, had a countdown, and then would discuss or more so send ridiculous gif reactions throughout the film. It was a fun way to connect when everything here in Nashville was shutdown. We eventually did them in person in our backyard by setting up a projector and making an event out of it!
After having watched several of these videos, my dream of escaping the suburban sprawl and my too-large, needs-work house is about as broken as the house itself. It's impossible for me. The apparent requirement for me to move back to the south is a massive fault.
I suppose it works for other people.
