    That’s tricking the fish!! I remember when I was a kid my uncle used a old pickle jar that he would put the minnows in with a flash light and literally catch fish with a naked hook!!

      Yeah, that’s a good one, you never know what else they are gonna ban next in your particular state.

    Good video, not just for the lights! Thank you!! I fish the south TX gulf coast and have started researching lights. I fish almost exclusively at night on lighted piers. How long does the battery last with that setup?

    • @HookCircle
      @HookCircle  Před rokem +1

      LED is very economical, I never ran out of battery juice yet. I fish for 5-9 hours usually.

    Works just as effective using LIGHT STICKS. Cost effective as well.

    Will it work for lakes? We don’t have oceans in Utah

    • @HookCircle
      @HookCircle  Před rokem +2

      Yes, LED lights should attract many fish species in fresh water, such as crappies, bass, trout, catfish, carp, & walleye.

    • @HookCircle
      @HookCircle  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Its basically frozen ground fish scraps. Many bait stores sell it, look in the freezer section.

    • @HookCircle
      @HookCircle  Před rokem

      Many bait stores sell frozen chum bricks. Look for then in their fridges. Its basically ground & frozen fish scraps. Some people make their own chum from fish carcasses.
