- Hi guys, quick clip on how to move the DMD from the backglass screen to a 3rd screen, resize the backglass to hide the grille part and enable a hidden DMD to make it visible.

Hey, I love your channel, and I've started to make one of these on my own. I know you've shown an overview of what you've made, and pretty much explained it all, but have you ever thought about making a new Pinball machine, same size and everything, but make a step-by-step guide type of tutorial? I know that's a big ask, but I'd love to see more of this.

Hi buddy. I was very happy to see your script solution. I have severe depression and I have this goal of having all of favorite tables with fulldmd or wallpaper with virtual dmd. I tried looking for support on discord but no one gave me any minute, Anyway, if you could help me with somethings once and a while you would make someone very happy. Right now I can see my virtual dmd and even poppinup tables, but they wont show fulldmd or b2s anymore. bummer,

I just recently got the neverending story table for vpx. The author of the table states this"For those who have the knowledge to move the DMD to an external monitor I have included a separate "Backwall" image in the Image Manager (Titled "backwall_no_DMD.png")You can select the back wall in vpx and choose noDMD png file to remove the dark rectangle that helps the dmd when its on the back wall." Would it be possible to make a video how to relocate the DMD on that table? Thanks

Hi I have problems with the tailor swift table. It shows no dmd/scores. I have look in bsb2 and so on but no dmd show. Any tips for me?

I have a multipin vpin which is amazing but some of the dmd s are on the backglass when I start a game and not on the 3rd window as should be
I have followed your tutorial and it works as expected and saves the position.
But when I have switched off and come back again another day the dmds have reset to the backglass default position??
Any ideas?
Also can't seem to make the dmd any bigger in the 3rd screen dmd window. The frame can be stretched and it looks bigger on the backglass but when I move it to the dmd area it remains the same size dispay but the frame spills over onto other screens??

Would you happen to know why my downloaded DMD and backglasses (through pinup popper/player) will not display the score. It's like they're just videos and loop the video clip.
Im planing out a shopping list to make a table will i need a graphics card with 3 monitor out puts to get this working
Hi Robert - only if you want to have a separate screen for the DMD . Otherwise you can arrange the screens so that the DMD is the lower part of the second screen (if you get me). Mind, most cards now have more than 3 outputs so that shouldn't be the limiting factor. Cheers!

Hello. I just have upgraded VP from 10.6 to 10.7 version, and since, I can no more see any DMD screen on any of my 3 pinbab's screens. Playfield is ok, backglass is ok, but DMD is invisible, so I can't even clickdrag it. Any Idea what I have done wrong ? (I'm using PINMame3.4) Thks for any help

Hi Randall, thanks for your comment. I've had a quick look at the Goonies Table, and you shouldn't have any problems with it.
Unfortunately, work commitments mean I haven't been able to do any more with this for some time, but hopefully at some point I can get back to it. Cheers!

Just wondering how you have your VPX program screens all able to read right side up on the playfield. When i set the playfield monitor to landscape in display setting so it is in the proper orientation, all the program boxes are 90 degrees off.

Hi Barney, make sure that "Use always FS backdrop settings" is checked in VPX Preferences menu Video/Graphics options.
@@arnoldj.rimmer5116 Thanks for the reply, I do have that option checked so there must be something else. If you have your playfield as Monitor 1 and the orientation is set for landscape did you change any orientation setting in vpx itself? Oh by the way I'm running Windows 10 if that makes a difference.
@@barneyrfd Hi mate so I think you have the playfield monitor set to landscape mode in Windows, but physically rotated vertically as (or as if), in a cabinet? Take a look in the editor - open a table, click backglass/POV icon on the left and click to open the options window. In the options window Mode drop down list, choose FULLSCREEN, and make sure the Test Desktop checkbox is disabled. Does that make any difference?
@@arnoldj.rimmer5116 I see what you are saying and if I change my playfield to portrait mode in windows, it throws everything off in vpx so i would have to revise each of my tables to correct. That also goes for my Future Pinball tables and FX3 tables. I should have set things up differently to start with if i wanted my playfield in portrait mode but I have too many tables right now to revise them all so i'm just gonna have to leave things as they are.

One question...you load the table then move your mouse around to get the pointer to appear and then do as you said in the video?

What program were you in with right click to change setting?

@@arnoldj.rimmer5116 ty I was just wondering what the software it was for backglass, like were the settings from Pinup popper? I couldn't see the screen clearly after right clicking or I would've saw it on top

what screen are you using for dmd?
Hi Matthew, it's just a small, cheap lcd screen "Johnwill" brand - link (affiliate), in description if you want to take a look. Hope it helps!
my backglass is in my DMD screen how can i move my backglass out of my DMD into my backglass monitor . some reason most of your videos you keep talking about DMD settings nothing about backglass if you have this problem
Run the B2S_Setup program in the visual pinball tables folder to change which display is used for backglass.
