If Arda was given the chance to play at Barcelona at 16 years old like lamine, he would be at a better stage for sure. Lamine doesn’t have much football IQ he just dribbles and runs. But Arda Güler sees everything in the stadium. Lamine played like 50 games for Barça and 6 goals. Arda 6 goals in only 373 minutes at Real Madrid. Now you might say that at the euros Yamal had a better performance. However this doesn’t mean that he is better because in Spain, he plays with world stars like morata, carbajal, le normand, unai simon, oyarzabal and etc. Even though arda plays with average players, he still manages to show off his skills and score goals at euros and even break Ronaldo’s record. He is just on another level.
The difference between the two of them is that one is a Culer & the other a Madrista. Now Barca & Madrid fans are going to see things differently. I'm a Barcelona fan & a fan football & instead of comparing them, why not just enjoy how they both play. Why do we have to behave like dogs among each other by trying to prove who's better?? Lamine Yamal has characteristics that meet modern football / football player criteria (athleticism, dribbling, ball control).
Arda, on the other hand, has pure technique and is much more competent in scoring goals. but the style is oldschool. When he adapts these skills to modern football, he will undoubtedly be a few steps ahead. However, I don't think that his future lies in Real Madrid in the next 1-2 years. Arda's game currently needs a clear center forward, which Real Madrid doesn't have. and he should definitely take more time. ( The right place may not be real madrid)
