Question for devs:
What is being done to remove hackers/cheaters from Official servers, given that the majority of new players to the game will start with Official servers and likely get repeatedly insta-killed by someone hacking/cheating. It cannot be beneficial to the Bohemia business model to allow new players to be deterred from continuing with the Dayz game.
The playerbase has come to accept this as some test of manhood/womanhood, so to speak, and it should not be this way for this game or any game, for that matter.
THAT. This is the only important question!
They're quite open that they about-turned on wasting devtime to get rid of them and have given the tools to the server owners to detect and ban.
I don't think it's a bad call, really.

I bought day z after watching operator drewski play it. But I gave it up quickly. I didn't start actually playing it until I found you guys and saw just how fun and different each life can actually be. Thanks guys

@@E.Alavi17I somewhat agree, if that was to come I hope they do it the same way they did CS to CS2. Where a lot of the main/core characteristics of the game stay the same. Sort of a general overhaul to everything but it still feels like the game we all know and love.

You can make lite weight ponchos out of tarps so you stay dryer and warmer in the rain and cold..
bring up the fact that the source code should be released so that modders could more easily mod the game, without the need for workarounds, which would make the modded servers more stable, and open up the community to better mods.
Please ask them when they will allow base building on consoles that is similar to PC? Like code locks , building a base from nothing and having actual doors. We want PC base building.

Commenting on the dog 🐶 barking, if it really is a serious issue for you then you could try a electric plug in that emits high pitch frequency. Every time they bark it goes off acting like dog whistle and distracts them.
Work most the time, but I had a dog who kept barking every time it whistle. Funny looking back, still never used one again lol ✌️

Will you ask the Devs if they will please make the character customization better? So much that you can create yourself.
My question would be, will there be more maps that are community based? For example more maps that have more safe zones and dedicated pvp areas, for all the role players out there? I'm not much of a pvp person lmao

You guys need to get into hardcore namlask maps. Desecrated lands namalsk is a great hardcore sever. Pve with mutatans an cold cold weather. Base building an a huge crafting aystem for tools an such! Proably my new found happy place!

You and trmz made me start playing I always herd about dayz so I started watching you two finally and after about a week I bought the game tried playing on my 13 year old pc with a 1020 2gb couldn’t really play so ended up spending my stimulus check and built my own 4K$ pc 😂❤(best at the time z490 xtreme 3080 xtreme (gigabyte) 10900kf 48gb of 3200 ram and a m.2ssd
4:11 - Please ask them when are they going to show the console players some love or make a next gen upgrade so we can have NPCs, modded servers, it runs better, less lag etc
If you just brought a PC instead of a slow outdated tech console you wouldn't have lag issues etc.. and would have all the cool kid stuff, it's the console/manufacturer you need to be speaking to actually, not Bohemia/dayz.

It's not down to the console manufacturer to develop and release an updated version of the game tho. Surely, the PS5 has enough power to run DayZ if it was optimised, its not like its the most graphically demanding game. And regarding the mods, surely that's a DayZ thing, as you have games like Fallout and Skyrim which allows for in game modding, plus they already have the editor, just needs a few extra bits added in.
But I don't know about any of this, way outside of my knowledge. It would just be nice if the console players got a bit of love, that's all, even if it's just to make the game run a bit smoother (cars are a death sentence 🤣)

I know every question I have for a dev wouldn’t be allowed to be answer cus it all revolves around DayZ 2 and Arma 4. But I’m just dying to know what the deal is, are they waiting for arma 4s engine to be ready to make it, are they at least working on it like come onnnnn give us anything.
