agreed, i have seen so many insta posts and just posts in general of "heres the edgerunners soundtrack" and they leave out this song, but this song had the hardest impact in the anime at least for me, aside from maybe the last third of "Zurawie" (maine's scene) and obviously "really wanna stay at your house", its really a shame that this one is flying under most peoples radar

If it makes you feel any better, the DLC they added to the game allows you to get David's jacket, which is important for a few reasons: 1 - Falco in the messages always says "we" not "me" when talking to V, which is implying that he is talking to V on behalf of more than one person, himself included 2 - Lucy would be the one to have David's jacket, as it was in an Edgerunners branded case, and ANYONE who became part of that group, or knew of them, would have made sure that she was the one to hold on to it, as David meant the most to her and vise versa 3 - At the end of the show, in the last scene, Lucy is seen smiling, meaning she is beginning to accept the gift of freedom that David sacrificed himself to give to her So, basically, it's implied that Lucy eventually made her way back from the moon (we know she has at least another 250k from the heist), and is living her life in NC again, but this time completely free from gangs and corporations, likely just netrunning for the fun of it or to make a quick buck here and there, and more importantly, that she hasn't shut herself away from the world completely and is still keeping contact with the very few people left who could be considered her friends, hell, maybe even continuing to be a part of Edgerunners with Falco potentially their new leader. Remember that the story of the game takes place a good amount of time after the show, while she will always miss David, I think she is a strong enough person to accept the gift he gave her and live on, free and happy, as he wished for her to do.
wow this slowed reverb version is much sadder than the original because this song depresses me because i dont have a pc gaming because my pc gaming broke me with a hammer.
Can we stop acting like the game was great at the start. It’s good now but it’s launch was terrible. I’m glad the anime came to make people interested again including myself because I wasn’t really thinking about it after it’s bad release. Still needed a year or two in the oven before it was ready imo.
@@TNumbers That's how it was when it was released, neither ones nor zeros, in the middle and a couple of patches later it was fully playable. For people to avoid the game knowing it could be fixed and was fixed even before the anime is crazy

It was pretty bad at the start, and that’s coming from someone who wrongfully pre ordered the game. Glad it’s good now though
