To vanilla’s credit, as a dj, I’ve never seen ice baby fail to fill the dance floor. The fact he had to hustle to get funds for the video and then it goes number 1. Mad props. The man is a legend
It's like as a kid you hear the jokes and think it's hilarious and laugh. But then you grow up and see what Vanilla Ice has done and you're not laughing any more.
This guy was a victim of his own success, but in all his interviews he was just a down to earth nice guy riding the wave of a song he wrote. There was no reason to hate on this dude.
One hell of a good dude. I sat next to his table at a restaurant and didn't make it known I was a huge fan. I observed a very well spoken and polite man who continues to be the best he can be.
I went to his 1991 concert here in Melbourne Australia and U have to E honest....It was bloody amazing, Vanilla Ice live, no back up tapes, no BS was absolutely wild live, and so real and he beatboxer, freestyles, talked to the packed out audience all through the show, it was lit 🔥🔥
Vanilla Ice wasnt just a rapper, he was an entertainer and real hip hop. Hip Hop style dancing, beatboxing, graffiti, emceeing = Hip Hop. He was excellent at all of it, and is a true OG Legend and still Cool as Ice.
This dude has looked 32 years old for like 20 years
"I was 16 when I wrote that song". People were hating on a kid who was trying to do better for himself.

This guy surprised me in my hospital room some years ago , he was doing some charity work and was just saying hi to everyone in care.

i remember ICE ICE Baby being played at parties and everyone began doing the running man. It looked like an aerobics class.
Now look at him . He's fixing homes and doing a stand up job in life . Great guy respect
"How did 2Pac treat you?"

I like how he doesn’t try to talk thuggish.
I love how vanilla ice embraces his past. Mark Whalbergh literally tries to hide his affiliation with hip hop.
I was one of those kids that bought his record when it came it. Feels like a lifetime ago. Nice to see him doing alright.
Pioneer of Hip/Hop, underrated, deserves Zero hate. Bad ass
Vanilla ice took the heat so Eminem could get his foot in the door.
A fella who took a lot of abuse for being successful.
Came here for the comments. Strangely surprised by the positivity. I dig it
seems like someone who doesn't take his past too seriously, while appreciative of it .
