Alot of changes compare i study in there at 2001 lol....i wish you can take some street video on family streets view and introduce some store...i still remember my favorite muisc store on King street with big yellow sign...i still remmeber i live in 503 Main East at that time.....i think the building may gone already...since its such a really old style 3 floor building with those zigzag fire ladder outside the build....hope to see more video from u at hamilton. By the way stay safe in this pandemic period !!

Hiii💜 I’m going to McMaster next year for exchange, do you recommend living in a residence more than living off campus? Do you guys have like flat party or smth?
Yuria Hattori hi! That’s so exciting! Where are you coming from and what are you studying? I can’t really speak to the off campus part because I’ve only lived on campus. But I love love living on res. It’s so convenient.
What do you mean by “flat party”?
itswynette I’m Japanese but I’m studying business at Kedge business school, it’s in France:) Umm like for example in my school, people living in residence are really close cause they have parties, going out together and stuff. Do you think living in residence would help to get to know people? (The building looks awesome tho!)
@@yuria8347 Wow that's so cool! People in residence don't really have parties because they get shut down quickly. But they do go to parties off campus. I've also been out to dinner with my floor mates. We've done sushi a couple of times. I think living in res is a great way to meet people. I've already met some cool people and I continue to meet more. Also on res, there's a "community adviser" on each floor. A CA is an upper year student who can answer any of your questions and just be there to support you. I've reached out to my CA many times and I really like having that support system. Also, I'd love to meet you when you come!

Hiii, do you know anything about the life science program at Mac? Anything would be helpful thanksss
Yeah! I know a lot of people in life sci. From what I understand, in first year everyone starts off in “life sci”. And in second year people specialize in more specific subjects (ex: biochemistry). Specializing can be competitive. If you have any more questions, I can connect you with one of my friends in the program. :)

Hey! Is the kitchen allow all residence to cook? Does the residence provide any frying pan or pots? Is all residence buildings have one kitchen that can provide students to cook?
Yeah, students can cook in the kitchen. You'll have to supply your own pans and pots. I believe all residences have a kitchen.
all res has kitchens not nearly as nice as these new ones

How hard was it to get accepted (like what was your avg in gr 11/12) I am grade 11 with an avg of 84% I’m so scared I would appreciate some advice.
S.J hey! Check out my earlier videos. I talk a lot about my grades, ECs, and essays
I got in with an 84% average but it depends on which program you apply to. Some will accept if you have 75%+
The admission process is a bit scary but I got in with an average of ~88% (life sci)
Hey I'm applying to commerce programs in Ontario. My top choice is 1. Queens and the rest are U of T , York, Laurier bba and ba financial math dual degree, mcmasters, and Carleton ( my parents forced me to apply at carelton). Diya Kamodia you should check out Maclean’s rankings of Canadian universities. McMaster ranks top five for reputation and student satisfaction. As for student life, I really do like it here. It’s a welcoming community, professors are fantastic, and I make use of the facilities.

Diya Kamodia it was difficult at first. Especially because I have a single room. But after a month I started to make friends. I’m still opened to making new ones though.

Can you apply to be in a residence or is it random?
You apply for the type of room, not the residence building. From there, there will be a lottery. If you're lucky, you will get your first choice.
