    Got to love the classic rotating lightbars and aerodynic was one of my favorites. Great video!

    Yet another beauty. I'd prefer center out sync if it were mine.

    One motor! Ohhhhh! I never knew. I really like how it's one motor with everything connected by gears. What a good idea. Also, you've got the positioning perfect so the flash timing is super satisfying. Thank you.

    I use to drive a Fire Engine that had this light bar set up , very effective , especially in low light and poor visibility sittuatons

    These bars were loud due to all the gears meshing together. You could actually hear it inside the car and they drew alot of amps.

    I liked the hand clapping sync but this bar was one of my favorites.

    My friends mom had one for the fire department and me being 12 years old, didn't like the flash pattern. So me amd her son turned one side of the rotators to flash at a different time. So one sode of the bar would flash amd then the other side. It looked alot better

    Great vid! I’ve always wondered what the inside of these looked like and how they kept their perfect sync. They were gone before my time. How was the flash pattern changed? Is it by changing the gear positions?

    That's a wide bar! Some halogen bulbs would be brighter. Very cool! 🚨🚨🚨🚨

    • @SpiritsoftheWolf
      @SpiritsoftheWolf Před 4 lety

      yea, you need a beefed up alternator plus one switch connected to a solenoid in order to run 12 55watt halogen bulbs, that's equals to 660 watts for a total of 55 amps being drawn from your battery, not even a relay cannot handle that much amps

    I probably would've not made it a T/A pattern, or split up the red & blue like that, yes it looks cool buts not really that effective.

    • @Patr1ck0830
      @Patr1ck0830 Před 5 lety +3

      LED's might make the lights brighter, but you don't get the "pop" of the light with LED's. Only halogen bulbs will give that "pop" with the rotators.
