Tom Hardy was so incredible in this playing two people. I felt like I was watching two different actors play those guys. He really disappears into his characters.

Tom Hardy is such a quality actor, this movie showed what a great acting presence he is and extremely versatile. To play both brothers was amazing to watch.
He was also good as Heathcliff in "Wuthering Heights".

This is by far my favorite gangster movie of all time, nobody could have done it better than Tom 💯 it is so absolutely amazing to watch how versatile he is, playing both the brothers just mind boggles me.

This is an epic masterclass in film acting. It’s as good or better than anything DeNiro or Brando or Pacino ever did. It’s masterful. It’s grand where it needs to be and subtle where it needs to be. It’s beautiful.
Deniro and Pacino are great actors, but they're one dimensional same as Denzel Washington, all great actors but act the same in every movie, Tom Hardy is much more versatile.
If DeNiro had done this film, he would have won best actor for both parts but because it's Tom and he is English, not a whiff of awards from the Yank's.

the snooker club scene didn't make the cut! unless im mistaken.
This scene should have been in the final cut! Reason being that the pool hall (The Regal) was the twins first real business venture that and the Double R Club!

you can pause in the scene they are fighting each other. just after the fast slaps where it shows both of them. and whoever is playing "reggie" at that time doesn't look anything like him lol

To some ya'll Tom played both Ron and reg but in the film it's a split screen but he also has a double act to help him out in some scenes esp the pub fight went Ron n reg hits each other
They did such a good job you can't even tell though. It reminded me of watching the parent trap when I was a kid and I thought lindsay lohan was 2 people. If I didn't know who tom hardy was prior to this film I would think they were actually twin actors

Лицом Томв роли Реджи, спиной Джейкоб, потом опять Том в роли Рона спиной Джейкоб. Джейком Томури это его дублер во всех его фильмах начиная с безумного Макса. Посмотрите интервью Тома. Он там всё рассказывает подробно😊

with a stunt double, and multiple takes of the same scene but they switch Tom into the other brother then do his lines and parts lol. same thing they did for austin powers but less obvious and better camera work

Can someone explain like I'm 5 or just confirm I've got this right? Obvs Tom Hardy played both brothers but in these behind the scenes clips ofc there's another actor for the fight scenes. Presumably because it is impossible, or very hard at least, to do a fight scene against "no one". Does this mean they just shot each scene twice with Tom playing each role?

You have to read the cinematographers technical CGI
Yup. His stunt double, Jacob Tomuri, filled in for Ron and Reg anytime they were in the same shot but you only needed to see one's face, as they are the similarly built. And obviously during stunts. Otherwise it was a split screen effect.
