Letters From the Sky - Projected Twin

- It’s a rare thing for me these days to be swept up by a song. I don’t know if it’s age, stress 😅 or numbness but it’s been a while since a song has crept into my world. Where the somg echoes through your very bones.
This was one of those songs. Remember that show ‘Harpers Island’? It was a classic slasher concept turned into a tv series. I think I missed the last few episodes, but I saw a spoiler at one point that saw my two favourite characters (played by the talented Adam Campbell and Cameron Richardson) killed off… in a moving montage that featured this NOW Civil Twilight classic. I think this song was in ‘I am number 4K’ or something like that too. This one made the rounds! And before dropping my first album the year after this was my most asked about video. In fact a few covers of my version started making the rounds shortly after (some better than mine 🙌 )
In the background of this time I’m starting to date again… and making my first album and working at the Telstra Shop in Victor Harbor. . . I get fired soon.. it was worth it 😅

It can be tempting to take some down sometimes. Music can be so personal. So challenging to the artist to live with older stuff sometimes. But people enjoy them and I feel like once that happens, they don’t really belong to me, so shouldn’t be so quick to take them down.

Thanks! I take the covers really seriously. I only do them when I get really stricken by a song and the desire to cover it beats the desire to just write something new. I found the original song a few months ago and I like to look up acoustic covers to music I like, usually complements what I am familiar with quite nicely. I LOVE this cover, it is so powerful and adds to the emotion of the original. Great musician

I first heard this song at the end of "I am Number Four" and loved it so looked for it on CZcams... Then started to look at some acoustic covers being a guitarist and stumbled across your video...
