The crowd was cheering loudly, and your head began to swam from the adrenalin.
You wandered off backstage for a drink, you desperately needed one, but once you sipped into the remaining punch, a bitter taste sprung out, attacking your taste buds- the punch was spiked. "For fuck's sake," you threw the cup into the trash.
You looked out onto the stage, xiao was rapping, spitting insults while childe kept flinching at the insults about his orange hair.
kazuha worked on backup vocals and aether flexed his muscles, dancing wildly while venti was at the dj station. They looked mad cool.
On the other hand, DCKZ didn't look any less awesome. Childe was out there rapping in the gaps xiao left, spitting out fire, absolute fire. His lines corresponded and slapped xiao where it hurt. But they also rapped about his wealth, which was a easy spot to insult. Diluc worked on the backup vocals, and kaeya began backflipping, ending it with a wink at the crowd. Zhongli spun his fingers out at the dj station. Who knew an old man like zhongli knew what beats were.
Finally, the battle called out for a break, and the members began shuffling backstage.
"Xiao ! Here, i got some water for you," you handed xiao a bottle of water, which he finished in one gulp.
"Thanks love," he smiled and kissed your cheek. "Ahh..I'm tired, my throat's all scratchy," kazuha muttered.
We all turned our attention towards kazuha, without his vocals, the whole show would lose its charm. "i'm sure it's not that ba- bad," kazuha muttered, his voice cracking halfway through. "try hitting a high note," aether said, crossing his arms. kazuha began to sing, his voice going higher and higher, until he spluttered and coughed. "it..hurts," kazuha said, after drinking the water venti handed him.
"fuck, what are we going to do?" xiao muttered, he and the others began to conspire, attempting to place aether in kazuha's place, but aether hitting high notes was like a donkey wailing.
While they talked, your mind wandered off, and the spiked punch began to take toll, your head began aching. When you looked up, you saw DCKZ chilling at the other side of the room. Childe's shirt was off, and his torso was stained with sweat. The others were drinking water or passing jokes. He saw you looking and caught your gaze, winking at you.
"what the fuck," you muttered.
xiao noticed childe gazing at you, and he placed an arm around your waist, drawing you closer, while he conferred with the rest of his team.
The punch sent bile up your throat, and your head spun, "xiao babe, i'm gonna use the washroom, i don't feel so well," you muttered,
"y/n, are you okay?" xiao asked, his eyes forming concern.
"i'm okay, i'll manage," you said, kissing his forehead, xiao nodded and you stalked off towards the washroom.
On your way there, an arm appeared in your vision, blocking your path. Childe.
"Hey cutie," he grinned, pushing you against a wall. He was still shirtless, but the sweat dried off now. His fingers began to skim the bare skin of your thigh, going up and down. "Leave me alone Ajax," you said, frowning, pushing him off. "Ajax, huh? haven't heard you say that name in a while," he said, leaning against the wall. He pushed his damp hair back. A million memories passed between you two, from playing as children to looking at ocean blue eyes. He never once said his love for you, never claimed you as his own, despite the soft touches and the kisses. He never protected you, and once you began dating the lead rapper of 4nemo, it was mainly to get back at him, but despite xiao being a rebound, you fell for his crankiness and hidden affection. You were over childe, and you stopped loving him, he tied your heart on strings and played with it till it broke.
You looked him straight in the eye, "fuck you," you said, and puked all over his shoes.
Once you got back to xiao, you had come up with a plan.
"Guys, i have an idea," you said, and everyone turned to you.

Your fingers held multiple rings, including one that matched the purple diamond on xiao's cheek.
You were dressed in black, leather jacket and sweatpants, including the coolest boots you've seen.
your ears held silver earrings, they trailed from your lobe all the way to the helix.
And you stepped on to the stage. The crowd cheered as soon as they saw you on stage, no one had seen you on stage for more than 2 years. People still remembered you, it seemed. I mean, you were quite the rap legend.
DCKZ realized the member change, and concern stained their faces, except Childe, who looked outright amused.
Xiao began rapping, this time more energized than before. And you backed him up.
Venti began producing the most powerful beats. Aether began dancing, blackflipping and matching his steps to the beat. Kazuha worked on the visuals from the back, sending anemo particles our way. Our hair began to blow and we glowed.
Once it was DCKZ turn, Childe began rapping, no longer rapping about about wealth, and he began rapping about his hard times.
Diluc sang, adding depth to Childe's verse, while Kaeya danced. Zhongli worked on the dj once again.
Diluc began sizing me up, and i cackled.
Soon, Childe's verse lost energy, and fell towards the sadder tone. You began to focus on his words, and then realization dawned on you, he was rapping about *you* .
"Little fucker," you muttered. He was farming pity votes from the crowd, while simultaneously putting you in a bad position- killing two birds with one stone. Once his verse ended, Xiao began to rap, but you stopped him, "i'll take it from here," you muttered. He smiled, and handed you the mic- and you loved him for that, because he knew how much this meant to you. He took your place and you began rapping about Childe.
you talked about how he broke your heart and the amount of times he cheated, and soon the vocals stopped. Everyone and everything faded away, and all you saw was childe. The beats slowed down and began to beat slower, sadder.
Tears streamed down your eyes as you sang about Childe, soon the beats sped up, and xiao backed you up again. you smiled, and childe stood there with mouth gaped open.
You kept singing, while rapping in between. The beats slowed down once more, and childe began rapping too, you and him argued through music, all of your feelings flowing through the musical notes. Once it was your turn, only the beats played and you began to sing, crying now, and slowly, your voice went higher, higher and higher, hitting the highest note you'd ever hit.
Once you were done, the crowd went nuts. Cheering loudly.
You looked around, and thought, you should've never let childe take this feeling away from you.
The day later, 4nemo won, with 62 more votes than DCKZ.

You gathered all of your make up supplies in a hurry, for todays occasion was DCKZ vs 4NEMO. You hop in the van with the boys, zhongli held out his hand, smiling. “ Alright, we're all set. Let's go now! ” Zhongli closed to door and the van drive off to the destination, the whole ride they were just rehearsing their songs.
“ Seems like I didn't forget any of my makeup, you gentlemen are sure that your outfits are at the backstage right? ” Glancing at zhongli on your side and the other three boys behind. “ Yup, no need to worry, Miss y/n !! ” Childe gave you a thumbs-up and a reassuring smile, which made your nervousness went down a little.
Soon, you and the DCKZ arrive in the destination. All of you were given construction on what to do and what not to do, and as for the boys. They were told what to wear and to behave well. “ Ah~! Zhongli is here! ” A light voice spoke in between the curtains, it was one of 4NEMO's member, Venti. “ oh!! Y/N IS HERE TOO!! ” Venti jumped at me, making the other boys look at us. While zhongli pulled venti away from you.
“ Are you okay, y/n? ” Kazuha handed out his hand, apologising for venti's action. “ it's fine-! ” Before you could hold out his hand for assistance, childe picked you up and setting your on you down. “ Kazuha, if you don't mind? Me and our dearest makeup artist is busy with something. ” Childe smiled, kazuha nods and grab venti going back to their respective room.
“ Don't put too much powder on me, okay? ” The ginger blushes, your face too close to his. You just laughed and gave him a nod. “ Y/n, can you help me button my shirt?? ” Kaeya pouted, you look up at kaeya. Who doesn't even look like struggling, while childe on the other hand was giving kaeya the finger. “ Kaeya, you don't look like you're struggling with that ” You gently spoke and went back to Ajax's makeup. “ C'mon now~ ” he whined.
“ I'll button it for you. ” Diluc spoke while fixing his collar, glaring intensely at kaeya. “ But I want y/n to do it. ” Kaeya rolled his eyes, the two brothers started arguing in no time. “ Zhongli! Come here, I'll do your makeup now. ” You signal him to come to you with such kind smile. Zhongli sat at the empty chair and look at the mirror, not looking at his reflection but you. “ Just the eyeliner right? Or should I add some blush? ” Taking out your eyeliner in your bag. “ Yes to eyeliner, you can also add some blush if you want to. ” You smile and take out your lip tint and face zhongli.
“ Y/n.. ”
“ hm? ”
“ Please don't quit your job and continue taking care of us, if it isn't much a bother. I know it's selfish.. ” He closes his eyes, somewhat upset.
“ I wouldn't, besides. I enjoy taking care of you four. ” You smile, adding some powder on his face and some highlights. “ really?? ” Childe and kaeya spoke up in sync.
You nod, adding something on zhongli's face. “ You guys just make my life so much more fun, so why should I quit my job? ” you felt multiple arms wrap around you. “ Thank you, y/n. ” zhongli looked at them from behind and at you, smiling
You smile back at zhongli and tap the gentlemen. “ You're always welcome. ”

You closed your eyes. Gosh the lights were so bright. Even when the preformance hasnt begun yet. This was the first time you were going to a concert and hu tao had to drag you here. Sadly she wasnt able to come due to business reasons.
" And today is..." The person in the stage said clearly with a microphone in had.
" 4NEMO VS DCKZ."
Eruptions of cheering came from the crowd. You likes 4nemo and dckz. They were supposed enemies. Like fire and ice. They dont go well. You kept your eye on one special person, you knew. You didnt knoe how or why you knew them. Perhaps a misunderstanding. Venti wouldnt be your childhood friend. Why would he be? You felt a pair on eyes on you and venti whispered something to xiao. Although you couldnt grasp it. The whole 4nemo band was staring right at you like a contest. You shivered a bit as you heard Aether and Kazuha say at the same time.
" Can we pick a person that'll root for us? "
Everyone agreed they wanted that. And Unfortunately , both the bands knew her. Her hair, face, was so similar. They both tried to choose you and you got dragged onto the stage. You sighed while facepalming your head
" No! Y/n should be with us because im her childhood friend. " Venti cried while dragging you to their side
" Now now, dont you think we are better for them? After all..~ " Kaeya smirked devilishlly.
You blushed red, gosh why were you in this situation. You felt stares of hate and some of admiration. It was terrifying.
" Why dont we let y/n pick." Diluc sighed at kaeya disappointingly as always and everyone nodded their head in amusement
" They are going to choose us obviously." Venti smirked
" Your wrong, they'll choose us. " Childe chuckled at venti.

The music around you is loud along the screaming besides you, however you don't dare cover your ears in case you were to miss the heat of the rap battle of both battles and their fiery performances.
You cheer along side everyone all around you, the concert between 4NEMO and DCKZ is streaming live and it's being broadcasted all over. Nobody would dare miss it as it's caused quite the commotion.
You turn around just in time to catch Venti as he collides onto you, Venti lifts his head to look at you and shouts "Please watch, I'll be the one who rocks the performance so keep your eyes on me!"
POV: You smile while handing Xiao a water bottle and towel after his spectacular show "Great job out there, Xiao." he mutters a small thanks but you catch the small smile on his lips at your praise.
You clap loudly from one of the seats as DCKZ finish their rehearsal "Woo! Amazing you guys!" all of them turn their head, spotting you at the front and smile as you, their manager, cheer them on.
POV: You were picked as one of the luckiest fans to get to have one on one meet with the biggest boy bands 4NEMO & DCKZ, who knows what the future awaits? Perhaps great friendships or something more.
You'd never question Kazuha's popularity among the rankings, because you knew everyone loved his unparalleled beauty and soothing voice, anyone would fall at his feet, not to mention his humble self.
Aether laughs as he watching his bandmates fool around in the living room of their apartment, covering his ears at Venti's loud rapping while Xiao stood looking with a deadpan face at Kazuha cheering.
Kaeya was known to be quite the charmer and it wasn't surprising when male and female individual swooned at just his looks, but not only that, his voice and moves told you everything about his talents.
POV: As Aether sings his part, he looks directly towards the camera, placing his hands on top of his heart and singing along the lines of 'boom' with the beat as if imitating the hearts of his fans.
You gape in shock as you hear one of DCKZ's songs for the first them, courtesy of your friend showing you. What caught your attention the most was the deep voice of a certain individual in the screen.
Kazuha smiles softly as he leads you up the stage to your debut and pats you on the back, mouthing a 'you got this', you look back and see the rest of your friends, smiling, you get ready for the show.
You pant, tired from all the dancing and singing, but the loud cheering from the public has you smiling as you walk backstage, greeted with the sight of your friends clapping and wooing at your show.

Your voice got hoarse each time you screamed the lyrics, you look over to Mona, who was busy doing the same thing. The intensity of the music vibrates throughout your body like a drum. You thought you would never imagine yourself at a concert, with your best friend, yet here you both are, witnessing your two favorite bands having a rap battle, right in front of you.
Buying front row seats was a lifesaver, you got to see each band members qualities and talents.
For 4NEMO- Venti being the main vocalist, Xiao is the main Rapper and dancer, Kazuha being the visual/rapper and lastly Aether the second visual/vocalist
for DCKZ Diluc being the main rapper, Childe being the second rapper/dancer and Kaeya being the second vocalist and Zhongli being the main visual (as always) and the lead vocalist
Both groups were beating each other up in terms of rapping, even the vocalists were doing a good job. you didn't know who would win, but you couldn't care less, the only thing you would care to do was too lose yourself to the lyrics and the music, you would probably never have the chance to go to a concert like this again, so might as well go all out, right?
While you were busy loosing yourself to the music, Mona leans over, close enough for you to hear her. "hey, not too Alert you or anything but Kaeya is walking towards us." you whip your head to mona to see if she was joking.
"You're kidding!?
"I'm not."
as Mona finishes speaking out her last letter, a shadow looms over. You lift your head up to see those icy, deep blue eyes staring right back at you.
Kaeya: “Say, we should let a guest or two join us for tonight”
Kaeya looks over at his bandmates, all four of them giving nod, approving Kaeya’s suggestion. He then looks over to 4NEMO, all four of them nod as well.
Then he looks over to you
“Well, what do you say??”
Y/n “Yes!”
Kaeya: “perfect”
Ah, by the way what’s your name?
“Y/n, my name is y/n.”
Kaeya took you by the hand and led you to the main stage.
It took a moment for you to get back to reality, you on the same stage with 4NEMO and DCKZ, you couldn’t believe this.
kaeya grabs the mic, his voice snapping you back to reality.
Kaeya: EVERYONE, LETS GIVE IT UP TO… Y/n
The crowd erupted with claps and cheers. The cheering mostly done by best friend, Mona.
You, 4NEMO, and DCKZ rapped into the late night, unfortunately the concert had too end.
It would be alright though, as it would be a night you will remember. As you walk back to your seat to pick up your bag, all four members of 4NEMO and DCKZ walk to you, their leaders stepping up,
Venti: Tonight wouldn’t have been the same without you Y/n, thank you
Zhongli nodded in agreement.
Y/n, No problem!
Venti: I hope that’s it then, hope to see you see you soon Y/n, it was nice meeting you.
You excuse yourself, as you turn around. And walk towards the exit, Venti yells, his voice fills the entire venue.

Y/n had come to the concert because both of their favorite bands were going to be there! Surprise was evident on their face when they realized it wasn’t just a concert, but a rap battle!

Y/n had come to the battle to cheer 4nemo on! Their favorite band was up against another big band in a head-to-head rap battle! 4nemo was happy to see their favorite fan show up to support them! Y/n even got a pass backstage for after the event!
Y/n (Favorite team DCKZ Ver.)
Y/n had come in their favorite band tee ready for the battle. DCKZ was going up against 4nemo in a rap battle! They made sure to look their best and showed up early to get closer to the stage. DCKZ saw Y/n and smiled when they looked at them. Y/n had the time of their lives, giggling at the jokes about 4nemos heights. They got invited backstage after the performance and fan(girled/boyed) a lot!

Y/n had showed up to support their favorite singer, Zhongli, who had come with DCKZ. Y/n was super exited when they learned they won a backstage pass to see DCKZ backstage! They of course enjoyed it!

Y/n had come to the concert, being invited by their friend Venti! They soon realized it wasn't just any band. It was 4nemo, and Venti was in the band! They bugged Venti about it nonstop after!
Y/n (Favorite singer Childe)
Y/n showed up hearing that Childe was going to be singing! The flirty singer was definitely their favorite singer! Watching the stage they saw Childe look at them, and then blink. They blushed a lot!
Y/n (Favorite singer Xaio)
Y/n was invited to the concert by Xaio! He had met Y/n days before and gave them a free ticket and backstage pass! Y/n was super excited and agreed to meet him backstage after to "go on a date".
Y/n (Favorite singer Keaya)
Keaya had invited Y/n seeing as they wanted to go! They were super excited and thanked him lots. They showed up and looked on stage, only to see Keaya look at them and wink.

Aether was thrilled hearing Y/n would be in the crowd. His crush for them had been spiralling out of control! He saw them look at him and he joking winked, he was suprised to see them cherry red!

Y/n being a regular at the tavern was excited to see the bartender rap! They had showed up and Diluc saw them, he looked suprised but happy! He later looked for them and offered them a free drink.

Kazhua was happy to see Y/n in the sea of people. He sung his best, trying to impress them. Y/n saw him wink at them and they turned a crimson red. Later asking him about it, a date happened after.
4nemo got mad as DCKZ laughed about their height and how useless anemo was.
Keaya was eyeing you the entire preformance, little did you know, he had a crush on you.
Kazuha looked majestic on stage, his voice was one of an angel! He say you eyeing him and winked at you. You turned redder than lava.
Childe was a flirt, onstage and off. He was always finding ways to tease his fans. This concert, he did easily with his motions.
Keaya was a major alcoholic, yet his voice was better than the rest! He saw you staring and he smirked. He was charming in every way! Always finding ways to fluster you!
Xaio was always looking out for you, he didnt have many friends at the time. He saw you in the crowd and watched you until you looked at him.
Diluc had noticed your face in the crowd, he had developed a crush from your frequent visits to the tavern. You would help him clean and never become extremely drunk! He considered you his favorite!
Xaio was happy to see you in the crowd! He enjoyed your presence more than his band mates. He then realized he had developed a "small" crush on you!
4NEMO was enjoying the time they spent with you before the concert, knowing you would support them behind the scenes!
DCKZ knew you were behind the curtains, they loved your support and tried their hardest to always impress you! -lip bite- (im cringe-)
Zhongli knew you were in the crowd, he could hear your squealing above the rest of the crowd. He always tried to impress you no matter what!

"Well, we joined the agency first! Technically we have more experience working with [Name]!" Childe spat, as Xiao was taken aback. He clenched his fists and narrowed his eyes, as he glanced back at Kazuha and Heizou, then Venti and Aether for help. They both winced, shrugging.
"Well, as a matter of fact, I think [Name] chose to become OUR tech manager first." Kazuha calmly spoke, earning the attention of the other DCKZ members.
You only laughed at the two bands, arguing over something so silly. Of course you weren't going to choose just one of them, especially with how vital you were to both of them. But you let them have their moments for now, not wishing to dampen their spirits. Outside, on the main stage, you could hear more insults being spewed left and right, back and forth between Xiao and Childe, then Kaeya deciding to say a few things.
What really took you by surprise was when Aether started speaking. If anything, he was the least irritable of the 5WIRL group, and in this case had gotten pretty riled up. After Xiao delivering a killer line, Childe sighed and raised his hand for a break. As the members filed into the backstage area, you glared at each idol playfully with your hands on your hips.
"Xiao, I don't believe this is a good time, but I'm starting to feel that my throat is not doing well." Kazuha confessed, as Xiao sighed. Kazuha had been doing background vocals and hyping up the crowd, so it had taken quite the toll on his throat.
"Ah... That's not good..." Aether muttered, as you strolled over to Kazuha with a bottle of water. He smiled and thanked you as you handed it over to him, and started drinking.
"Kazuha, you just stay here backstage. Try to keep yourself from talking too much. As for you three, I'll help you out until Kazuha gets better." You smiled, as Venti thanked you, frantically bowing. Xiao placed a hand on your shoulder, concerned.
"[Name], are you sure?" He asked.
"Yeah! You're not 5WIRL with four members! Plus, I'm technically still a member. I never really left, you know."
"No way! [Name], we owe you!" Heizou cheered, handing you a spare microphone earpiece.
It had been ages since you last stepped for on this oh-so familiar stage. You were actually a previous member of 5WIRL, but decided that backstage management was more fun. Though you never fully claimed to actually leave the group, you just stopped performing.
"[Name]?! What are you doing on their side! I thought-" Kaeya whined, as Childe only got more excited.
"Well then! Play like that, manager! I've gotta tell you, we won't let you win!" He smiled determinedly, as you chuckled.
Things got really heated since you set foot on the outside stage, and you were quite used to making up these comebacks on the spot. Apart from being a previous member of the band, you also used to be a main rapper with Xiao. So you were used to this energy. But it was different, adrenaline hadn't been rushing through you for such a long time, not like this.
It felt wonderful.
As soon as you threw one last line at Childe, who slightly shrank back, defeated. It was easy to see the light fade in his eyes, as if there even was any to begin with(IM SORRY😭😭). As the crowd cheered, you and the other 5WIRL members ran around, high-fiving each other. Kazuha came out from backstage and joined in. DCKZ was astonished, but like the mature grown men they were, simply accepted it and congratulated you. Most easy to bounce back was Childe.
"You know, you're pretty good. But next time, be our main rapper." He said. You laughed and were pulled back to 5WIRL's mini-celebration by Heizou. They started patting each other's backs and ruffling their hair, laughing the whole time.
Xiao was really glad you helped out. He missed the times when you and him would duet, especially when you two would sing lines back and forth during concerts. Caught in the moment, Xiao made a split-second decision.
Hands gently grabbed your arm, pulling you into a kiss. You were shocked, as Xiao had just smashed his lips onto yours, but you returned his favor. Hearing the audience scream louder than ever, you pulled away, smiling as he did. He pulled you into a tight hug.
"Thanks. Thanks a lot, [Name]..."
"Hey, don't forget we're still here!" Venti teased, as you were let out of Xiao's grasp, flustered.
"Yeah! What about us!" Aether asked, making you laugh even more.
"You guys get me onstage your next concert. I'll give the other guys a compensation, maybe just a little cake." The others cheered. As you were taken backstage, you shared a glance with Xiao. You smiled, reeling the curtains closed as he winked and waved goodbye. You mouthed 'See you at the car?' And he nodded. This night was wonderful, and you only hoped that more fun things like this would happen again.
