    Thank you for this very beautiful video, the picture and music were wonderful. Made me cry, a mixture of happy tears from the sweet memories and sadness from memories of people and places now gone.

    Many thanks, lived in Montrose St Albertbridge Rd. Left Belfast in 1968, it was great looking at some of the old places. Once again THANKS for putting it all on youtube

    lovely memories John thank you so much . Remember as a child during the war going to the county down railway on the tram to go to Ballynahinch away from the bombs . love the songs too

    I lived in East Belfast last year for 7 months. One thing I will say about Belfast is that even the dodgiest looking hoodie will not say anything to you, even if they are in a gang, this is in stark contrast to the mainland.

    Is there any folks up in EB like to do family research as a hobby i have been tracing my great grandfather who served in the 8th RIR in ww1 and before that a UVF MEMBER The family always knew he had another family before meeting my great grandmother after ww1 and moving down here to Ards in his Military records it shows he had 2 daughters born around 1913 and 1917 it has been bothering me a bit thinking he left the 2 young girls for whatever reason his name was william john Maxwell not sureif he was from EB to start with the grandmother told me he was from enniskillen and moved to the city for work in the shipyard could he have had yet another family in fermanagh too and left them Also
