MJ was a once in a lifetime talent. It was like he was made of music.
The greatest and the most exploited. RIP MJ 😢.
Hey, a entire family of talent! 😷
Him and prince and no one can compete with them today those artists i can't call them artists they are just copy and paste , being inspired is ok but to do the exact same isn't good
@@WALTERBROADDUS they pale in comparison
NO JOKE!!! Say it!
It's hard to listen to Michael Jackson without my eyes watering a little RIP Michael we will forever miss you.
Same! I d wanna seem like a Debbie Downer.. you bet he hit every note.. I see them at this age and love the music and talent-however, that father of theirs... in a documentary, it’s shared just how hard that man was on those kids- drill sergeant style, making them rehearse to exhaustion- of course, without the amazing natural talent, it wouldn’t have mattered what Joe Jackson thought- Michael had it with or without him- it was said he was harshest on Michael too-
Same here.
Ikr me too especially You Are Not Alone. 😩🥺
Eyes not watering, my tears are flowing like a river, Michael is truly the GOAT of musical entertainment, it's has been an honor for me to be able to follow this talented man from birth and beyond. RIP, truly the KING.
@@JD-vi4qk I just miss him 😢
Smokey Robinson wrote this song and was skeptical that someone as young as Michael could interpret these lyrics at his age. Needless to say he was also amazed when he heard his version.
I'll take Smokey and The Miracles version. Michael does do a good job though, especially at such a young age.
@@user-jn6bi7mn4m You're not wrong. I have both versions.
So this kid called Shaheen Jaffergholi (sp?) went on BGT or something and sang this song and it was like Michael all over again... Michael Jackson had seen the audition video and offered the kid a spot in his tour right before hes passed away. Shaheen sang at Michael's funeral, whether it was emotion or puberty, the performance wasn't fantastic. Apparently he's an actor on East Enders now...
M T That’s the thing about covers. The ‘youngsters’ don’t know they’ve been done before, nor where they came from. That’s just life, I guess... 😂👍💖
@@rayd635 same here. I also like the cover they did of Just a Mirage. Little MJ is so cute!
That child had a voice that will never be equaled. Lhm. *I'LL BE THERE* will eternally be my favorite. (Love the shirt)
Thank you
This is why Michael - before all the other craziness later in his life - must, among other things, be included among the greatest, prodigy musical geniuses of the last hundred years. Period.
.
Not just the last hundred years.. but ever. No one before, no one after has reached his level & excelled at everything like him.
👌💯👌💯
The greatest ever. Not just a hundred years.
There will never be another Michael Jackson. He was such a talented individual.
Unless in the future we get his dna and clone him
@@johnmulligan455 lies
@@johnmulligan455 would u accept money as a parent if your child was abused? I would want to see the accused rot in jail
@@johnmulligan455 still u think those accusers were credible? why would they accept money in return of abuse to their kids?
@@johnmulligan455 he was not an abuser. The truth would be out one day. You are allowed to believe what u are fed with.
Effortless.
No contorted face
No over singing
The range , clarity and stage presence. Wow
Right???? It's been really interesting watching all these Britain's Got Talent X Factor type shows come out, and you see these little kids who were older than MJ was come out and some are good, but they look awkward, they oversing, they have no emotion, they have no stage presence. Then there's this 11 year old child like MJ just coming out his first ever TV performance completely live and it's THIS. This would be the defining career moment of most older musicians of this era. If Harry Styles ever had a performance like this he'd never work another day again. And then a decade later he did Thriller. Just insane!
That is insane. The child just oozed charisma.
God was showing off the day he created Michael Jackson! Loved when you took head phones off and said that's it shows over 🤗
Nicely put. I agree 1000%
I have tears in my eyes with how you put this. God bless your soul.
@@EstherGonsalves-vk7go thank you for saying that 💓
How is this possible for a child to sing with such skill and depths? I remember seeing this too as a child
This child had to sing perfect like that or his father would beat him.. so he had to be right on..
@@SweetThing Back then black community has to deal with so much in order to reach success, MJ understood his father and forgave him.
@@milanomj05 - Michael's brothers stated about the beatings and Jermaine, Randy & Tito talked about it in interviews and they didn't sound like they forgiven their father.. it wasn't water under the bridge.. they were still living it mentally. Tito & Jermaine said it affected how they mistreated the woman in their lives and that is sad. I never heard Michael say he forgave his father.. I think their father's harsh treatment of his children affected All of them mentally and emotionally.. and that is why I think Michael was still fighting his demons until the day he died. JMO
@@SweetThing Watch MJ's Heal The Kids speech at Oxford University. MJ and his father get along over their finals years.
@M T - I agree. And Michael didn't even call his Father Dad or Father, he just called him "Joe".
Michael Jackson was a once in a lifetime talent. Truly amazing!!
Can you imagine the Jackson 5 coming out in this day and age and their dad putting them on America's Got Talent? They would blow up the internet.
Like Kodi Lee did
It's like watching a grown man that already won over a dozen grammys with a career of like 3 decades perform, but it's just a little kid lol, so grateful to have lived on the same timeline as The King Of Pop
such a great way of putting it!
Right??? His first ever TV performance! The way he completely steals the show, just eats up the whole set.
Makes me cry so hard seeing that sweet innocent child. Oh God what did those monsters do to him...
Can you believe the deep feeling in that young little MJ’s singing?! Such soul! 💜 Amazing, wasn’t he?
Everybody remembers Michael for his songs & his dancing but he was a top top class singer as well.
Absolutely
I was lucky enough to see MJ in concert in 1996, he will always be the GOAT!
Мне тоже, в Москве!
Oh yes, you were lucky! I had tickets and I had to sell them because 3 days before concert I broke my leg. I thought it was ok because I can go anytime.... well... 😪
Breaks my heart seeing little Michael man. I think after more than 10 years, I’ve gotten used to Michael being at rest now. But seeing him as a kid will always hit me differently.
His talent was so big and his life was so turbulent, but he's certainly missed.
Gosh, Michael was talented! You often forget with all the tabloid trash about him... but he certainly had an amazing voice.
Little did we know the Impact that Michael would have on ALL lives❣️ Love and Miss You Michael 💖💖💖
Normally when a child starts singing, I’m hitting the off button. But Michael Jackson is something else.
Many singers and performers are unique and great but Michael Jackson was in a league of his own.
Little Michael was a very special talent at such a young age.
Ridiculous vocals!! So talented - you really don't see this kind of talent these days!!
I remember watching this, I think I was like 9 years old . His voice was pure.
Sonja Ashmore He was born in 1958 which makes him a whopping 11 years old here!
@@bonniehendel2291 he was 11 but Motown put it out that he was 2 years younger than he was.
Michael Jackson was a year older than me. It completely freaked me out seeing him on Ed Sullivan! We didn't know then how big he was going to be.
He’s a once in a lifetime talent.
Nobody could predict that. It was unthinkable.
His voice at that age was phenomenal
He was absolutely adorable, such a gorgeous kid and that voice, musicality, soul at such a young age, it's hard to remember just how talented he was, such a pure voice, love, love, love the Jacksons ❤❤
Michael Jackson will always be the king of Pop. His hits were one right after the other from a very young age. He sang and danced like no other. He had everyone falling at his feet and fainting. There will never, ever be another like him. He was definitely a legend gone way too soon.
Motown Monday!!!!! It literally brings a tear to my eye to see how talented he was!!! Amazing!! This was young King of Pop!! His talent was God given!! Few tears in my eyes... such a talent!! I can't help but think his brothers might have been a little jealous of his extreme talent! Maybe even his father, who was pretty strict and tough on him. Thanks for your reaction... "this show is over" LOL You got that right!! MJ was 11 when they did this.
Brigitte R..... I often wondered the same thing. I tried to figure out what it was like to be a Jackson teen in the group and your little brother was the lead singer. It had to bruise the ego but one can't deny the truth.
"Never Can Say Goodbye" The Jackson 5.
This is the first time I've heard Michael Jackson sing this song. I've seen it plenty on AGT, and other similar shows. I had no idea Michael could sing like that!
This is the performance that made me a fan. I was a casual MJ fan until I discovered the Jackson 5, and delved into their catalogue and Michaels incredible talent from such an early age. I don’t think we’ll ever see something so amazing ever again. Love him so so much. ❤️💕
One of their best is 'I'll Be There'.
Absolutely! Love that song✌️
YES!
Definitely! And ‘The Love You Save’. 💖💖💖
Yes my favorite!!
The youngest of the Jacksons was the lead singer... imagine that! His talent and vocals cannot be matched. To this day miss MJ.
Loved the reaction!
The Jackson Five was an absolute phenomenon and Michael was definitely the star. So much talent in that little package!
No doubt this is definitely live!
I am shocked that Michael was so calm and on perfect pitch.
I am blown away by this live performance!
Now I see why MJ had solo hits like Rockin' Robin
(please hear the - 1972 Soul Purrfection Version -
it's the best version for maximum enjoyment, guaranteed!)
and the main title theme from the movie Ben
while the Jackson 5 were still active as a family group.
It is so sad he had to leave us.
OMG! Yes, he sang with such emotions way ahead of a child that age. Michael was a Phenomena unprecedented! Never will anyone of any age sing this song better than he did 💓💞💗
He was the star of the family.... the pressure he must felt. How can a little boy sing like a grown man so much passion and soul!!!
Michael Jackson was born with stars surrounding him!⭐⭐⭐💯👏
He was so damn cute and his voice was amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Legend. May his soul Rest In Peace.
Such a talent.. God given.. but it's heartbreaking to see what suffering was going on in the background if his life. RIP Michael.
Dam I break out in tears when michael spewed out his little soul to the world like only he could do it..
Oh MY God! I have been waiting for SOMEBODY to react to this AMAZING performance! I grew up with their music and I was in front of the television when this aired! You have know idea how it felt to be a young Black child in this country and watching them perform...it was historic! Thank you for reacting to this!
Watching Michael Jackson perform has always been so entertaining!
You can't miss with any of the Jackson 5 songs, check out "I am Love", classic. It has elements of rock, soul and pop.
Damn, MJ could sing, so much soul in a preteen.
When I was kid it was the Jackson Five and the Osmonds.
I was a little white girl but I loved me some Michael Jackson.
I'm hoping to get someone reacting to Donny and Marie for fun.
id like to see him react to crazy horse by the osmonds
Yep, that was the lineup. They could do no wrong.
@@kraigburningham4288 I was a huge Donnie and Marie Show fan.
This song does show you the range that MJ had on his voice even at this early age. The song itself was a no show in the UK and wasn't released on single until 1992 on the Motown label some 19 years after their previous and last Motown hit "Skywriter", and after they quit Motown and signed with Epic Records and re-branded themselves as the "Jacksons"
Yeah Michael was always amazing. Think he wasn't even in school yet when he started singing along with his siblings and it was immediately noticed he was special.
Old soul in a little body!
What a insane talent! He is unbelievable!
OMG Michael I miss you so much! You were so talented. We will never see another one like you. Rest in Heaven my friend.
Michael was incredible here, of course. But, his brother's backing vocals are quite perfect. And those dance moves at the end! The Jackson 5 were simply incredible!!
The Birth of a King!
For his age, those vocals are INSANE! Just incredible music that is truly timeless for all generations.
I always thought MJ shouldve sung more blues than pop when he was on his own.... he just had that sound.
Never Can Say Goodbye is another great Jackson 5 song.
MJ so good you can taste it!! This performance stirs all seven senses. ❤️
Baby Micheal was so brilliant. Thanks for another great reaction. 👍 ~Marz
Jackson 5 did a comedy skit on the Carol Burnett show featuring their song ABC. Carol introduces each brother for a solo. An earthquake occurred during the performance and they played right through it. Michael was a teenager, mid 1970s.
Omg the voice. I forgot just how talented he was from such a young age ❤ Amazing 👏
The Ed Sullivan Show was an hour long and packed with many guests each week, so yes, the songs were short. But Ed Sullivan was also the TV catalyst for launching MANY careers.
I'd never heard this song by them before. Michael knocked it out of the park! What an incredible talent he was gifted with. Phenomenal! Wonderful reaction, too! I enjoyed this so much!
YES man this is one of my favorite songs of all time ❤️
The Jackson 5 - “I’ll Be There”
HIT #1: October 17, 1970 STAYED AT #1: 5 weeks
How can anyone see this and not be completely blown away and have an experience they will never forget??? This isn't a cute kid with talent, this is actually someone who was born to share a gift from God that he knew as well...even as a young kid!!!
One of my all time faves, a legend is born right there. My other faves are "I'll be there", "Rockin Robin", "Can you feel it", "Blame it on the boogie", "Ben", "Dancing Machine" & "ABC". 😎👌🎶👑
I forgot about Ben
and his cover of Bill Wither's 'Ain't no Sunshine '.
@Heartstung Cool another good one too
@@susantang287 absolutely
There were two camps on Saturday tv in the 70s. One cartoon was the Osmonds and the other was the Jackson 5. And the girls had wars. You were either an Osmond or a Jackson.
I remember that!!
The funny thing is The Jackson sold more records than them
Michael tore this up!!!!! He sang this with such passion and feeling...oh my.And the brothers harmonies set it off 100% . What a talent voice and style from Michael at a young age!! He's one of a kind..😍😍😊
Your face!!! 😂😂 I enjoy your reactions 😁
I feel the same... I literally laughed out loud when he said, the show is over... cause I knew it was coming. Then, the last high note. Wow.
listen how Michaels voice was at that age. amazing.
The Jackson 5. Michael was great since he was a child. Loved your reaction. Thank you so much for sharing this.❤️😀👍✌️🌼Love and peace
I love kids with crazy talent, but no one could touch young MJ. How they got forty years of soul packed into that small frame is beyond me. Can you imagine if he showed up on America's Got Talent?
Loved the Jackson 5. Although I have to say I was more into Grand Funk at the time of this song, but Micheal's talent was just being born. R.I.P. Micheal, maybe people will leave you alone now.
How funny. I had several Jackson Five 45's and my first album that I bought on my own was Grand Funk. My crush though was Bobby Sherman, but that changed to Mark Farner. Guess that would be coming of age.
@@MsThebeMoon , Oh yes, Bobby Sherman, absolutely a teen heart throb, however Mark Farner posing naked in the gold album opened my eyes to a whole new "ahem" :)
I'm right there with y'all about Mark Farner. I was around 12 or 13 when I discovered Grand Funk. After that down came the Donny Osmond, David Cassidy and Bobby Sherman posters to be replaced with Mark Farner. He'll be 70-71 in September and I think he's still easy on the eyes. I'm 61. I loved seeing a shirtless Mark in concert strutting back and forth on the stage. Of course I'm there too about the Mark in the gold album. It was Hot!!
I did like the Jackson 5 too. Had 45's of some of the hits.
Wow, that 5 second spiralling note that Michael hit at the 1:49 mark here was simply sublime. A true talent which gifted us all with glorious musical moments such as this! #MichaelJackson 🙏🏻
Beyond amazing, for any age~
OMG, This voice is absurd, he had everyrhing, Falsettos, Highs and Lows all techniquies and at the time he was just a child... Incredible
There will never be another Michael Jackson. An extremely unique talent that hopefully generations into the future will know of.
What can you say, it's Michael. There will never be another Michael. Pure God given talent. He was so adorable when he was little
Finally figured out why I'm enjoying watching these reactions so much. It's not just the re-visit to all the wonderful music or your completely honest appreciation of it, what this does is reminds me of conversations I would have with my friends about these same songs. The words you use to describe how they make you feel are the same words we used when the songs first appeared! I remember this Ed Sullivan show and how we all loved it. This has been SO much fun for me, again thank you for keeping our music alive. I hope you understand how much this means for those of us who grew up in this era!
His talent is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, loved them all
Michael Jackson is the most precocial vocalist I'm aware of. It was just ridiculous how good he was as a child.
Flip me sideways. The fantastic Jackson’s. of course baby Michael, was born to do this! But we tend to forget, just how good, they were as a group.
Such a killer voice on MJ....love this song!!
This is my absolute favorite song by the Jackson five, just amazing, this kids voice was just heavenly, the harmonies were great too.
He was truly blessed with a beautiful voice
Loved this reaction! Goosebumps always: saw the BAD tour in '87, he shines brightly.
Thanks for the smiles
Greatest entertainer that ever lived love you Michael 😍😢
He made you feel everything when he sang! Love seeing all these Jackson 5 videos and remembering those days.
This is one of my favourite all time performances from Michael. Beautiful and utterly flawless
The greatest of all time...He was a genius , a creator, an artist...and sick US media killed Him. Con grat! What a loss...In his private life he was such a good hearted, very very smart man with a great sense of dark humor. Rest in peace King!
With all the craziness of his later years, I forgot what an incredibly talented person he was, even at such a young age. His brothers were really only window dressing. Michael has all the talent.
We were so lucky to see him and have him through the years. The Motown 25th Anniversary was the pinnacle.
Michael Jackson was just the most amazing singer. I remember him as the littlest of the Jackson 5 and then when he went solo, beautiful.
Monday is officially now my fave day!! Superb. Xox 💖👍💜
Mine too 💕
I loved the Jackson 5. Grew up with them and Michael Jackson's voice at this age was just superb. Happy, I Wanna Be Where You Are and Never Can Say Goodbye are great songs.
Michael and I was 10 the night he was live on the Ed Sullivan show and I was in the living room with my mom, dad and sister, watching it...I'm 64 and Michael and all of them are gone now....Thanks for the memories.
Actually Michael was 11 here.
Such an adorable sweet kid. Love Michael forever!!!
Blows my head every time ,no words just a full heart and goosebumps .
Jackson 5. Blame it on the Boogie a great jam
