- This video covers the history of the Trolls, from early Azeroth to Rise of the Zandalari patch. The histories of the Zandalari, Gurubashi, Amani, and Drakkari are all covered in this video, along with the wars the troll empires are involved with.

Aye It is said Prophet Velen is the oldest living being even older than any Night elves but I'm not sure where that falls in line with trolls. Velen would be around 30,000 years old by now possibly. But the trolls are the oldest playable race from •Azeroth• at any rate :D
Its still crazy for me to know that night elves used to be trolls
it definitely isnt something i think about a lot, but it's cool that they share that ancient history
Elves are descendants of Trolls.
Trolls and Elves both take on aspects of their chosen source of magic.

I mean with their skin colours, their huge ears, fangs and all, I can see the resemblance. But high/blood elves are just too different.

For real you can become really big on youtube man. There's definitely a need for streamlined and short(ish) lore vids like these. And the timing is perfect since wow is also becoming more beginner friendly itself. Keep it up and you'll make it!!! I'm already a fan and hooked. Can't wait for the next one.

One can easily argue the quality of the expansions after work, but the long form story telling is on point. From Warcraft 1, to WoW: Dragonflight, Blizzard has kept the story going turn for turn, beat for beat quite organically. I'm pretty sure less than a hundred years have passed in total? Not accounting for the ancient lore obviously.
Watching thede videos makes me appreciate playing every race so much more ❤
Ive watched your "all the lore" videos and I hope you continue making them. Im a new player and Ive had to watch all youre lore videos plus even bought the Ultimate Visual Guide to really understand most of whats happening!

WoW should have an option if you choose to play a Troll it should have a another drop menu letting you choose a troll tribe.

Are you going to do a lore video of all of the elves (Night, High, Blood, Nightborne, Void), the dwarves (Earthen, Bronze, Wildhammer, Dark Iron), the humans (Stormwind, Kul Tiras, Gilneas, Lordearon, Dalaran, Alterac, Stormgrade), the Tauren (Pandarian, Northrend, Mulgore) and the orcs (Draenor, Horde, Fel)?
Night elafs are my favorit race on Alliace and Troll has always been interesting cause they speak patoa 😂 i didn't know they are the family where Night elf and blood elfs come from! Made me enjoy them even more! Vol'jin is the G.O.A.T

If only trolls were a neutral race then I would have a race I loved on the alliance. I’ve spent a disproportionate amount of time on the horde just bc of my love for Thrall and trolls.
yeah, im a big fan of the trolls of warcraft. they're probably my favorite faction followed by the tauren.

Most troll factions are neutral.
Trolls, vulpera, and pandas are the oldest playable races and it's not even close. They existed long before there was a draenor or even dragon aspects. Sure the dragons existed but they were still just proto dragons the titans hadnt even been to azeroth yet. The void and elementals were the only ones here with them. The dwarfs are pretty old too but they evolved from the earthen and gnomes came from mechagnomes.

While I am glad to hear of the Sandfury Trolls again it's sad that even here the Dark Trolls that fought during the battle of Mt Hyjal and again during the Cataclysm were forgotten.

The Wild God's are like the Loa. The elves are arcane trolls, therfore the original term is Loa. According to the Warcraft realm and to what's original.

i think they just came about naturally. a lot of lifeforms grew around the well of eternity and trolls just happen to be one of em lol

no. orcs are decendants of Grond who was made out of stone by Aggramar. The line of colossals, magnaron, gronn, ogron, and ogres are the ancestors or orcs.
Elf lore is Troll lore.
