Mario, @ 6:38 you state that the answer is x=-1 but in the top equation you have it at 5x-2y= +1. Was there a written typo before getting started or was the equation accidentally miscalculated? I ask because the previous two problems, which I have a lot of trouble understanding in class, we're explained beautifully, but when Ex. 3 came, at the end I was confused.

Thanks for reaching out…I double checked that third question and it is correct …I recommend revisiting that question…you may have gotten confused with the negative numbers when substituting back in.
