How did you managed to have good belt tension with vertical dropouts? I want to convert, but on kit page is written what need at least 8mm adjustment in dropouts
I am ashamed to admit that I was ignorant about belt drives. Therefore, I drove without belt tension as shown in this video. The result, of course, was that the belt slipped on the hill. I learned that to apply belt tension to a vertical dropout frame, you need a snubber or tensioner. So I made a belt tensioner from a combination of two off-the-shelf products. VEERはフレーム選ばないのが良いですよね！が、ベルトの値段が結構するなあ・・・と。あとコグももうちょっと歯数が選べるとええですねー
替えベルト、確かに高いですね…
今のところベルトに特段の異常はなく、まず切れることはないと思うのですが、万が一遠方でトラブルが発生した時のことを、たまに考えてしまいます。
私もローロフ狙ってますけど円安で涙目ですｗ@@taxi4064
