  • Hi Everyone
I hope everyone is doing well. This is my first video, so the video quality and most certainly be improved!
A little bit about me: I am a college student who was first introduced to baseball cards with 2006 Topps Series 1. My dad amassed a large 1970s collection as a kid, and it has been a lot of fun trying to sell off some of his collection to add more items to the Boston Sports PC. I launched an Ebay store with him and ever since we have been selling a lot of cards and had a blast submitting almost a thousand cards to PSA/SGC.
Most of the cards shown in the video will be on my Ebay Store:
    www.ebay.com/str/samplecards
Feel free to message me about cards, grading advice, or anything on the store. You can message me via Ebay or send a youtube message!
This channel is a work in progress, and I have always wanted to start one. So why not now!
Feel free to leave a comment on what your thoughts on SGC/PSA, and what cards stood out to you. I will try my best to help facilitate cool discussions!
I hope everyone is safe and healthy during this time. Thanks for welcoming me to the community as a new CZcamsr.
God bless you all and may we see some live sports soon!
    Adam

fantastic effort on those 80's cards. SGC is tough but very consistent on those cards

Wow I’m so happy I found this video right now. I just sent my first order in to SGC and was about to send another load one of which is a beautiful Joe burrow Select club level cut multicolor (can’t keep up with the select color pattern names lol) but now that I know SGC is strict with reverse centering I’m definitely not sending it. Sad thing is I have so many nice 2020 select footballs but not one is both 50/50 front and back centering. Worst set as far as centering that I’ve seen in a long time but it has so many top players in it. Much love and respect!

Nice video. I’ve got six submissions into PSA now. I don’t anticipate their value or long-term popularity to decline. Intrigued by the surge in SGC though. I also appreciate you sending in commons. I too do that for known players.

SGC is a great grading company. I prefer them over PSA. They also have more integrity than PSA.

New subscriber. I just sent my first grading order to SGC a few weeks ago. This is very helpful for future review on what cards I want to get graded. Great channel.

Very nice man I just uploaded my first SGC return as well. One thing about SGC is they are the toughest on centering but dont hammer surface as much.

      @@KP-AC Bulk is $8.50/card vs $10/card!, but a 100 card minimum!

Sample Cards my only issue I’ve had with sgc holders is sometimes the grading number can move around a little in the holder. I wish they’d glue it a little better or something.

  • @hockeyyesterdayandtoday3342

Some nice cards here. I'm off to the SGC website now and might submit some of my 1980s hockey cards to them.

Awesome return man, I’m big into the vintage cards/junk wax you got back, some really nice stuff. I just subbed! Take a look at my vintage SGC return on my page when you get a chance!

  • @JohnBfree29

My experience was completely different,Almost like SGC didn’t even check the backs which I like because when I’m looking for a card to buy long as the front has great eye appeal I don’t care about the back

    • @samplecards2806
      @samplecards2806  Před 4 lety

Thanks for the input! Great observation! I have to check some of my 10s to see if the backs are a little off, which I am sure they are.

I don’t know why so many people are down on SGC compared to PSA? Better holders, look better, faster return, cheaper, and most importantly they are both strict and consistent with their grading. The sound that PSA holders make when you stack them just drives me crazy so cheap sounding
