Sucks us here in the US do not get the box or patch with the weapon. Just a cheap plastic casing around the gun and an allen wrench.

Nice Video. I’ve just picked up a G19X (Airsoft Version as I’m based in the UK in the British Army for training purposes). I’ve gotta say, I love the feel and weight balance of this in comparison to my TM G17 and Raven G18C. The colours of the gun really work, its great to finally see a stock Glock with a full coyote brown colour scheme. Also the kickback is smashing! And last but not least the gas efficiency is second to none, 1 fill of gas will supply 5 full mags, 22 BB’s per mag so 110 BB’s per fill. Unreal piece of kit. Really happy. £159 well spent. Going to have to sell my TM G17 now as I’ve got no use for it.
im looking at buying either air gun or airsoft as a training tool as i work towards my pistol endorsement in my country. Do you think airsoft 6mm guns have a close enough feel for this, or do you get more weight and recoil etc from the 4.5mm steel bb guns?
@@nz540im3 go for 6mm airsoft as it’s more variable in terms of how many RIF’s you can choose to train with. I recently brought my Umarex G17 Gen 4 on a military exercise. Went really well and fit most of my real attachments and holster etc.

I got mine in a blister packaging and no patch. I'm don't mind as it lowered the price at $85 shipped to me. Thanks for the review. It helped me decide to get this gun in addition to the G17 Gen3 just for the magazine. I didnt want to pay $33 just for a magazine. one for a real glock is only $20.
The magazine looks like the Umarex Glock 17 Gen3 gun. The magazine looks the same. I have not tried it. It just came with my G17 Gen3.

I'm not into the Coyote/Khaki/Desert coloured guns, but this one really interests me. If I had not found an airsoft G26/27 that has entered my 'Gotta Get List', this one would be right up there, or at the least on my 'Don't Forget About Me List'.
Once again, really enjoyed the variety of that intro. Lot of awesome, smooth editing done there. Kudos to whoever did it.

I have seen the recent Umarex video at IWA 2019, where they introduced this gun. They also showed the new Smith and Weston m&p 40 ts blowback. Any chance of a review on that please Andy, cheers!
the 19x dosent really have that cheap aluminum sound unlike the 17 gen 3
19 hjave lot lot lot better all material than 17 . only mag spring have worst and weak.
Great video my friend, I always watch your reviews before buying a product, I bought this and love it, if Umarex want to improve on their Glocks then why not include the previous capabilities? make it Field Strippable and Ambidextrous for lefties. I prefer the look of a closed magazine similar to the 17 gen 4M, if it contains a closed base clip. Great gun though. :)
Definitely adding this one to my collection.
I already have the non-blowback 19 and love its weight, feel and build quality.
Not overly keen on the colour scheme, but hey it's different and I'm sure it'll grow on me.

Yet another great review Andy, thank you. As an owner of the G17 Gen 4, I was really interested in this until you said it can't be field stripped. Big omission from Umarex in my opinion - I'm out.

Just got some version of this today and it's a ripper and only took me a few tries to get really good at quick loading it, never had one of these guns before but I already like it I want a rifle too

The color can be a lifesaver. I use my G19X as a vastly cheaper practice gun for my glock 19. The brown color makes it unlikely anyone in my household will pick up the wrong gun in an emergency, since my real glock is black.

I just bought 5 air guns (someone sold off thier collection) and he had two black Glocks and one of these and he added Black grips and in combo with the desert sand colour it looked amazing but it was the first thing sold.
Maybe if I come across another desert sand colour Glock again I'll grab it..

As for the gun itself - it's so frustrating that, for all the different variants, Umarex have some how not yet produced the version I want.
- I would prefer the smaller 19 to a 17
- I want the build quality of the 19x and 17gen4
-I want pellets not just BBs
- I want a glock carry case included - like on the dual ammo 17
-I want the base of the magazine properly finished with a slide cover -like on the 19X
-i want it in black not yellow.
Will that version be made??

The 19 is heavy enough for concealed carry even if you only put 12 rounds in it. I got a couple rugers, ECP9 and LCP9. The 19X is more than I want to carry. But this version would be fun and cheap to shoot, 9mm ammo over here is getting steep especially hornady personal defense. Also, a real one is more than $600 USD so the air gun version is a lot cheaper.

Wow. Finally - the blowback Glock 19!
I knew it was coming but had not looked up any additional info on it - just because I was a bit annoyed by it's choice of coloring. This mil-spec G19 kinda competes with the Sig Sauer M17 - but using BBs instead. No idea why these just gotta have a small difference in the coloring between the slide and the lower receiver.
Just love that it uses the same type of magazine as the Glock 17 gen3 (and the Tolmar ISSC M22 and the UX H&K VP9, just to name a few. Love those two!! ). The G17gen4 gives you just a wee bit more realism - but this type of magazine gives you a better recoil and gas effiency. I might even get me one of these G19Xs.. and I am not even a Glock guy!

The hk vp9 i got is cheaply made and the trigger is awfull,but i ran it through a chrony and was getteing 360 fps from it, its kinda love hate for me :-)
@@thecelt5408 Well yeah. Almost none of these airgun replicas are really made of real steel, so I think also most of these are quite cheaply made. But I get it what you mean. The VP9's lower receiver can feel a bit plasticky (especially without an inserted magazine) - like some other Umarex products also.
I just like my HK VP9 very much. Accurate on target, good recoil, and I just love the grip ergonomics. The lack of a safety lever on the thumb side, and a small slide catch lever makes it very nice. My ISSC M22 is a one badass BB pistol too (dunno any other replica with that kind of recoil) but the slide is way loose and clanky on it. Heard that the Glock17 gen3's slide also wiggles. But the VP9's slide sits firmly on the top in front position - and the recoil spring is hard enough.
Yea. I know what you mean with the awful trigger.. but I won't complain about it since these shoots so hard. My ISSC M22 also has this same hard trigger - but it also shoot so hard that it broke it's firing pin's original starlock ring. 😂
@@brorjordas1979 yeah i heard that issc was bad ass, thing is with the vp9 is i find if you rappid fire it the trigger is ok:-) i hear you it is accuarte and hits hard, looking forward to the new glock gen 4
@@thecelt5408 I liked the feel of that Glock17 gen4. Well, it is a pistol manufactured by KWC in Taiwan - and I just love KWC airguns.
The longer slide action and all makes it very sweet to cock. But since all of these just gotta have something irritating; the gen4 BB pistol shot way too low. But otherwise, it is a very nice pistol.
I love the glock but wished they could make the gen 4 in pellets.

Debating between this, the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4. I like the color and overall functionally of the gen 4 but this seems like a still good gun for like 84.99 here compared to the gen 4 at $144

Not sure how feel about the price, but I do like it. Seems like it should be around $120 perhaps 130. Field strippable is not a huge deal for me, so no loss really there. Does stink the patch says airsoft, as I have a motorcycle jacket I've been putting various patches on for years and that patch would look cool..if it didn't say airsoft. Airsoft looks fun and all, but the drama keeps me out.

You made a comment about the “lack of disassembly”. Does the slide come off? Mine has the slide release but they are plastic and I cannot remove the slide.

So come on then Andy, great review as always but, which (in your opinion) is the best military style bb/pellet gun. The Glock G19x or the Sig M17 or is there another to steal the prize?
The real question we need answered
Apparent the Sig isn’t that great, lots of potential for co2 leaks (a reoccurring problem I’m seeing with it) which is sad, because I love the P320 M17 and it looks great for the price! (114 USD on Amazon). I’m probably going to get either this, or the Glock 17 Gen 4.
Traded my Gen 3 17 for this, better balance and a slide that doesn’t rattle like a half full bottle of bb’s in a washing machine. Great garden plinking fun, no drink can or Pringle tube is safe. Only problem is going through Co2 like crazy being stuck at home, due to the current virus situation. May have to ration myself and my son to 3 cartridges each per day. First time that I can agree with the no full auto rule in the UK.
There's a police supply near me that has Glocks in almost as many colors/colours as ice cream. Too bad since the virus you have to be a cop to go in and buy stuff and ... I'm not a cop. It used to be fun looking at all the funny glocks.
Does the blowback action on this actually have a function or is mostly for show? Considering it’s double action trigger.
CO2 How you get the joule down to 1 when over 1 joule is not allowed ? And what about the trigger response can you shot very fast ?
I gave the usual Thumbs Up because Andy, you do a great job. The approval is for the review, NOT the product. I'm sick to death of BB guns and seeing and hearing about them. Manufacturer need to get with the program and produce quality pellet pistols with the features of the powder burners and dump the stupid, inaccurate bb junk in the bin. IF YOU BUILD THEM WE WILL BUY....

Hi Andy! Can you or someone else here can tell me how to remove the slide on this model? I just bought the airsoft version of this gun, but since the slide lock is not functional on this model, I really don't have idea how to open it for cleaning in the future. I removed the two pins in front of the fake slide lock, but I still can't remove the slide. Thanks!

In my opinion, the 17 gen 4 is more of an accurate replica, but the choice is completely up to you.
i love my glock 17. got it just for self defense. tired of these guys where i live pointing one at you due to road rage and just walking around at night trying to strong arm you with a pocket knife. one pop at them and they run like chickens
