I couldn't find Rs light node on my Houdini, is it version bug?? Im using the latest version on Win😭
Had the same issue. I think it's just that the RS light node is part of Redshift 😬
Hi, yes I am using redshift for rendering. You need to have it installed to get the Rs light node. But you can use the default Houdini lights to recreate what I have done in the video.
I’m planning to start doing this series after been trying Houdini for the last couple of weeks. Vellum has the most interesting simulations( for me). Thanks for this series! One last thing: I’m kinda new and noob to Houdini and I don’t really have a clear vision about how to export/save the animation and about render settings. Could you plz talk about it a little bit? 🙏🏽🥹
Hi, thanks for the comment. I would agree with you that Vellum has really amazing simulation qualities. Also it is easier for us to visualize the cloth Sims before recreating the effect in houdini, thus it is great for beginners. I have covered the rendering and exporting in houdini with context to rendering in Redshift as that is my preferred render engine. I will make a special video covering just that specific topic once I get my hands free from the coming projects. Thanks and hope you enjoy the series.
