Here is another fun time I had on the telethon. I had met Ed McMahon when I was on Star Search. He was so nice to me over the years. Check out how hard Jerry Lewis is laughing. You know you're doing something funny when Jerry & Ed are laughing like that.
The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon was an American Labor Day Weekend tradition . I was fortunate enough to tell jokes on it for 18 years. I looked forward to it every year, it's one of my favorite things to have done in my career.
You kids go and ask your grandparents who Jerry Lewis and Ed McMahon are.
