This coach driver miss-judged the size of his vehicle. Stuck down a narrow road and faced with a small arch he was forced to reverse. DJI link... click.dji.com/ABcVuf1DWl_nybmy...
The coach is an Irizar i6 so will fit under the arch the driver obvs didnt square up enough its more then wide enough the arch is 3.05m wide and the coach is 2.55m wide
surely the coach operator knows wich vehicle is suitible and would have provided this to the driver as the driver doesnt randomly take a coach out and get himself bloody stuck
I believe the coach is on the way to the coach park in Conwy. He could have got through if he had aligned the vehicle correctly. It is tight though. Better luck next time
Even if the coach could of fit. I would rather not risk it if after getting out and having a look i felt I couldn't do it. Better to not risk it and then damage the coach. So it's not really a fail.
So is that the first time a coach has ever tried to go through that archway ? because if it wasn't suitable they would be a sign just before the other foot. bridge lol so obviously it's been done many a time the driver is just inexperienced I don't mean to be funny but you can get a bus through there 😅🇬🇧
Some guys on here are probaly drivers and have more of a right to comment. If you guys did do it then, Great for you. However the decision is always the drivers to take it on or not. Its fair enough if they didn't want to take it on..That's life. As drivers we good days and bad days.
Done this arch many times, even managed to get through in a 14m tri axle.
Driver made meal of it

Pedestrian to driver: You could get a bus through there.

Dave Mann.... Coach enters the road and fails to enter the archway. Indeed a fail.
