Moving equipment in and out and always in a hurry!
#movingequipment
#trucking
#equipmentshuffle
#fastandefficient
#ontothenextone
Without a doubt no moss growing under your feet and at least a third if not more of your equipment to!
Thanks for sharing with me nice cups of coffee, may you all continue to be abundantly blessed
That smoke was Letsdig18 sending smoke signals. LoL God bless
May I say, "You are certainly a busy man." This "behind the scenes" video shows me that your line of work takes a lot of coordinating skills to get things accomplished. I can appreciate the fact that you save a ton of money by doing things yourself, as opposed to hiring things out.
Thank you for sharing your part of your life with us, the viewers.
Keep on trucking. ✌
Thanks
When you set that tailer down beside Aaron’s foot reminded of story. Years ago there was a local guy had a land clearing business, we hauled their equipment around to job sites. One of the guys always hauled his equipment, had a D-8 on with a the brush guards, they were heavy. He was dropping the trailer( a Talbert) and set it down on the owners foot, when he screamed it pain the driver jerked the handle up, it broke off and they had to find some vice grips to clamp onto the valve to raise off his foot. Yes, he was on crutches for a while.
I had to plumb Bob to town the other day to get one my trailers! That’s his new nickname “plumb Bob”, that was a good one!
I love it when you and Aaron work together very enjoyable.
Interesting video Mike, I suspect that most folks don't take the travel time into account for your jobs. That was a LOT of running around that you guys had to do. Thank you for bringing us along on your journey Mike!!!
Well Jerry as usual keeps his words short but very blunt. Good job jerry
Busy, busy moving machines! Great job to the both of you!
You and Aaron make the video worth watching at lot of fun and excitement.
IMHO 128oz to the gallon. 2.5 gal needed, 320oz, 32 pumps. Interesting to see if 1/2 will work.
thought no one else noticed.
Thank you. That dove me nuts when I heard it.
To frame this in DP's perspective, 54 oz is only 4.5 cans of Pepsi - not a gallon. 😂
Maybe it was one of his diabolical generators.
Many people underestimate and don’t realise how much time and effort goes into logistics and moving kit between jobs ! Nice work guys :)
That Mack gets me every time, that sound from that exhaust is on another planet. It still amazes me that people still don't know how much it takes to move equipment, I'm sure they think that contractors have a unlimited supply of equipment. So much easier with 2 people as well, you and Aaron make a good team. 👍🤗
You have typed a mouthful. Totally agree!
The history Channel strikes again .... watched Kleeman on that ditch project a few weeks ago. LOL
It's part n Parcel of the way you operate! You have said it time and time again! The tools you have in your toolbox.. equipment and people.. make things work! And if it's not working. It's not making money! Great Video!
That's a whole lotta work..... To just get ready to do more work
Don't mess with Munchkin behind the scenes and confuse him that early in the morning...LOL....love your videos....no matter what you cover in content..
I was OTR for a few years. There is a road in northern California that as you are headed west, you will start passing billboards with flashing caution lights that say 2 mile long 12%grade ahead with stop sign and 90% turn at bottom. I don't remember how many warnings there eas but there were several. Not only was there a stop sign and 90 degree corner at the bottom, the fire department was directly across the street in a brick building
I gotta admit. This vid finally gave me the missing links to how your business works. Fascinating!
I'm a religious viewer for over 2 years at this point and until this video I never really understood why you always slow down so slow when at the pivot point when loading heavy equipment. I previously thought you would not want to stay at that point so long. But, now I see that if you slip on a brake, a track slips on one side, or one track moves a bit faster than another at that point you would loose control and you would be in serious trouble. Sliding off the trailer or worse flipping an excavator or dozer. So little credit is given to the skills required by heavy equipment operators at the level you and your team work at. I appreciate your videos thanks for posting.
Thanks
People do not understand what goes into just getting to the job, great video.
Dirt perfect towing and recovery back in business
This looks like what my last two days looked like, only 1-you have bigger equipment and 2- I ended up with a flat on the skid steer I had to fix (it sucked the valve in so couldn’t add tire sealant like you did) welcome to the busiest time of the year SPRING
Moving Day!…sometimes I don’t mind hauling equipment and other times I dread it…it’s like rolling the dice!
Man, I like those ratchet binders! If I was a young man, I'd be buying some of those!! Keep up the race, the clock is the enemy.
Seeing them loaded one after another like that really shows just how much wider the 210's footprint is compared to the 850's.
Great video.
I hate move'n equipment! It's stressful and the most dangerous part of excavating. Great video and it was good to see Jerry, too! Thanks; Mike & Aaron. Lee
128 oz in a gallon🤦♂️
Unless You are Canadian
Only in your funny gallons !
Or 3,78 liter in a gallon 😁
@@gurraflex6478 that is if you use weird froggy measurements
Plan worked thanks guys
BUCKET CAM is totally awesome. Dust cam was pretty good too LOL
Boys and big toys! DP and a two stack Mack with a window in the back. 😊
DP, a pleasure to watch you get it done.
Love the deep sound of the name brake
I enjoy moving equipment but I wouldn’t want to do just that all of the time. Gotta have some variety. Keep on keeping on.
Beautiful country around there but I can't help but notice how narrow a lot of the roads are.
I know right. I guess they try to save on asphalt costs.
Sorry guys plenty of room to do what we need to
4 quarts in a gallon 32 x 4 -128
Looks like you had to do a whole lotta planning to get all that done.
Had to be a real long day given all the equipment you and Arron moved around.
Really makes it clear there's a lot goes on behind the scenes we normally don't know about.
We certainly do now.
Another great video, Mike. Thanks for sharing with us all that is involved in moving equipment. It's great that you can do this yourself. Have a blessed day.
😊🎉 thanks for the video guys 🎉😊... JJ... Jonjon...
Nothing like good SOLID shoulders. "Plumb BOB", that's funny! Thanks Y'all. 😊
It’s Always amazing how well the Mack gets around in all the fields. It’s dry and you do a good job of deciding when it’s safe, but still yet. I’ve seen trucks stuck in wet grass on flat ground lol. Clint’s 8x8 Oshkosh would be awesome to have but you don’t really need it.
Only thing that Oshkosh does better is waste fuel and make more noise.
@@BlueDually4x4 not going to say your wrong about that. Except the fact they have flotation tires all the way around and 8wd. 3 drive plus the steer, all have differentials.
@@erikcourtney1834 its also longer and heavier. The Mack can avoid more obstacles and problems just cause its smaller and lighter. And while the third rear axle steers, its going to wear out those flotation tires faster.
Excellent job!!!! Thinking and planning, is what makes you a good businessman. A Forward Boss & not a backward one...and not a double SOB
A little bit of hustle nice great watch 👍👋🇨🇦
Just weld a floor jack on skateboard trucks under every piece of equipment, and ride them from job to job. Easy peasy!
God, I am so smart.
Well Mike : I came up with this, either you got the state of Indiana’s contract for drain tile, or Farmer Chris, has a swamp for land, lol😂😂😂
Love the deep growl of the pipes on the old puppy dog and bubba dump
Well sir that road you had to get the bigger equipment down and out of looked tighter than spring bark on a tree and as crooked as a sprained snakes back. Nice haul job sir, fun little vid to watch and nice to see behind the scenes on placing equipment for projects, thanks for the video.
Love that you show the variety of activities it takes to do your job. The added bonus of both MBTS & Jerry just adds to the entertainment. Thanks for posting. 🇬🇧👍👍👍
I am exhausted that was alot of work! Great job.
I worked 6 months with a guy that was ohh how to put it. He was the one with the fuel card we drove every day 152 mi round trip. We ran out of gas no less than 20 times why because I forgot to remind him so MBTS I feel your pain and God bless you for putting up with it all 😂😂❤❤
Great video Arron and Mike keep them coming please
Great vid as always. Lovely part of the world you live in. So much open space to breathe.😀👍
Nothing like traveling all day and never leaving the county of Perry
That is really some Beautiful countryside that you work and live in.
Nice shots with the camera DP! 👍 keep them coming
Great video Mike and MBTS 🇺🇸
The Man's Song & Dance Behind The Scenes, short haul swamper's dance: 'The Bob Tail Plum Bob'
I bet the neighborhood loves that straight pipe jake brake
I wanna know how many mailboxes and road signs y’all have taken out over the years. 😎
None for me
@@DirtPerfect 👍😎
Morning DP and Aaron
Nice to see you guys are busy 😊
Howdy Mr. Dirt, With all the clowning around you & Aaron do - it's nice to see that safety is still at the top of the list!! Great video! Thumbs up! Stay safe. Jim
Thanks
I just wanna know when are you gonna put dirt perfect stickers on the DL 550
In some ways it's like watching you play a tile puzzle, move this here so you can move that there & so forth. That you can keep track of where everything is fabulous. I know you have to have a spreadsheet showing where everything is, but you still have to keep a bunch of that information in your head. Everyone builds their business in their own way. Thanks for explaining yours. And thanks for showing the beauty of SE Indiana.
Good morning sunshine! I love watching you handle that truck thru those narrow roads! Good job! Much love from Henderson Ga
great video you and MBTS got a lot done and saved you a lot of trucking money i am sure people have said it there is a 128 oz in a gallon ihope the stuff works having someone come and fix a tire is not cheap nice to see Jerry.
You two just make the day go bye so fast with all your antics you create between the two of you.accomplished lot little projects on this day.great video.just keep doing what ever your suppose to be doing.kudos 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Yep the Captain has finished the project. :) Cool shot from the bucket. Thank you and have great week.
Moving equipment takes time
That was a great view of the logistics behind your operation, Mike.
Mike you live in a beautiful part of the world. I hope you get to appreciate it while you are being a busy man
I do thanks
Great vid as always DP! Love seeing the behind the scenes stuff
When you win the lotto, you can get yourself one of those fancy trailers where all the wheels steer, make those tight roads and corners much easier!
Mike you are definitely working with a Special kind of man AKA Aaron plumb bob for bobtail had me spitting Coffee clean across room but it's also great to see Aaron getting some seat time in the equipment if he is or can become a meticulous operator as he is welder he definitely an Asset to your crew
Lol
Ya Caps video was about 2months ago so you're right on Time. 😂
You can always shop for fuel at any of DP’s pieces of equipment. Rumor is he has no locking fuel caps.
Just grab a shovel and clean off the tracks and blades;-).
The amount of equipment you have and the frequency you move it, you definitely need your own way to move it.
I love it when you pick on MDTS, early morning math.
Man that ole E7 powered CH Bulldog sounds like a new one after the rebuild.😃👍👍
Mike and Aaron busy busy! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
I think it is more important to use safety belts than dark sun glasses.
You were close on the sign going in and I'm thinking you are wider coming out. Good driving.
Hello from the Netherlands.
thanks for the video DP and Aaron .
Sincerely Hollandduck
enjoyed that vid. love seeing the everyday stuff.
Thumbs up to the new DP logistics crew, "get er done" fellas.
All the Puzzle pieces are in place ready to get started Keep up the good work Guy's
Good video with unique camera angles. I'm sure with this video it's a pita moving the camera, etc. 👍
Thanks for taking me along!
Money saved is money earned! SMART!
Ole 850 looks good with weights on ,, good vid 👍
If you used 64 oz per gallon, you only put in 1/2 of what you needed.😁
32oz. in a quart. Therefore 32 x 4 = 128 per gallon.
I was literally here having to recheck my sanity. It's too early... I was like this dude better not get me thinking it is really 64 the next time I need to know.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Always interesting and entertaining to see the work behind the jobs. Wishing you and your family the best.
If it's less than 11 deliveries, three reloads and 500+ miles it's a quiet day, I know these things.
Good video! Thanks for sharing!
Nice anti shake camera mount you had when camera was mounted to the 120 bucket😆😀
Hey guys, hope you’re having a great week, and it is amazing to see what it takes to get all this equipment dispersed in on the job instead of just seeing the videos all set up on a job and ready to go. It is a great thing that you guys are able to do this on your own like you said it is very Koski patient to do it yourself and by the way, where is Matt, I have not seen him on videos lately unless I missed something along the line I really enjoyed your video of the factory. That was amazing and very educational. It sure agree what you do for all of us out here and we all really appreciate it. Hope you have. A great week!
😀😀😀 That's one heck of a lot more work than you make it look like!! Just putting the chains on and off takes a lot of time and those buggers get heavy as H by the end of the day. One heck of a job!!
Awesome equipment job placement video. Denis from Santa Rosa CA
Keeping it moving.
Keep on truckin 🛻🚜⛽️🚧
Mike I’ve been around Kentucky a lot and you have to be very close with all the small roads and rolling hills 🤣
Plumb Bob, Bob Tail, it’s all the same lol
All this time I thought Capt Kleeman was the one shuttling equipment around for you guys .
When he is off duty from the fire department when he has time. He’s been busy lately with his channel now
He and DP both move equipment around, as they're the only 2 with class A CDLs. I imagine which one makes which particular move depends on Captians schedule in his "real" job vs when DP needs stuff moved. Sometimes DP can wait til captain has his off shifts, and sometimes he can't
