In this tutorial we'll look at how to use the wood chipper, how to get it to and from your farm, and how to sell it at the biomass plant!

Nitro Panda I use windmill farm as well. But I still like doing normal farming still ebut with best tractors and tools obviously. starter sowing machine etc was a pain since it was only 3m wide.

i have found if you use a skidster with a log attachment works good placing it on the edge of the belt then going into the tractor and starting the belt up. you may have to nudge it a bit with the arm but it works better than using the arm.
I wish they'd give us an alternate style of chipper. One that you just drop logs in to or something. I find this one to be a real pain too.

Yup I don't even bother with it at this point. Hopefully it will be better implemented in the next version of FS. It's also funny leaving tree bits everywhere at a clearing because the trailer grabber drops the small ones. Lol, still better than anything else I've seen.

I always find it easier to use when I go into first person on the claw itself. Just food for thought.
I dont know if they changed this wood chipper since, but i quite enjoy using it even on full lenght logs. just takes a bit at tweeking.

Considering how must it cost, how time consuming logging is to turn into wood chips to sell, planting saplings, skorpian king and all. Without cheating, can wood chipping be profitable? If so, what's the highest payout with your tipper totally full? Like they pay you,$xxxx X 2.0 for 18 hrs. Is it profitable enough to do, or did you find it where it's not worth the above BC of the payout. Army Vet looking for some help. Thank you, and you have the best videos out. Keep up the great work. Hey moose2006 LP How to start the conveyor belt
Dude, hook a tipper onto the back of the chipper. Then get the Scorpion, cut down a tree but stay attached, and don't cut it. Drag that bad boy over to the conveyor belt, lay it on there. Then jump into the tractor and start up the chipper. It should drag the whole tree in. It takes a little trial and error to get it down but it works so good.

+Sam Baker Only chaff goes in the biogas plant. And I believe they fixed it so buying a tree and cutting it down will result in 0 profit. You'll want to use the sapling planter.

+Sam Baker Yeah because it's super cheap to plant a bunch of trees. You just have to wait for them to grow (not sure how long it takes).
So just plant the normal tall trees and then take tem to the sapling planter ?

You'll probably need a better tractor then. Just the Kw stats of what you're trying to turn on and the tractor you're using.
Hi moose I have this game but when I get the logs ready 2 make chips the conveyor belt goes forward but the log goes backwards off the belt what am I doing wrong
This aspect of the game is very poorly implemented. In real life wood chippers are some of the easiest and most solid machinery equipment there are. Biggest I used was 24 inch chipper, we would take whole trees and dump them in there, it would suck them right up, limbs and all, extremely fun - but dangerous, you really have to pay attention what you are doing.
The one I used the most was a 6 inch chipper, our landscape company had one. In spring, when vegetation starts, during the months of march and april, we would fill our yard with 600 to 1000 tons of debris, mostly branches, leaves, trees, grass, flowers, palms, etc. We would let it decompose and compact a bit, then would pass all the hard material through said chipper, then take the rest and fill a huge 40 foot dumpster.
The feeding was done manually, by one or two guys at most, while one person with a skidsteer would do the pile sorting, bring the wood to the chipper and line it for easy pick-up. It only took one to two days at most, for 3 guys to clean that whole mess, a very efficient process.
Which map is better westbrigde or bjornholm
Oisin E Westbridge is smaller and more compact whereas Bjornholm is larger but everything's more spread out. Bjornholm also has the gold coins if you were looking to collect those.

Wish there was an easier way to get wood chips I'm on Xbox one so no mods needs to be something where u can put whole tree in
They're a pain! I have yet to mess with them in my LP series.
Yeah if gotten pretty good with the chipper can get 3 trees done in 10 15 minutes just wish there was a faster way I saw a krone mod that had a chipper on the front but didn't really work I'm on Xbox one so no mods unfortunately I really like some of the mods too but o we'll keep up the good work with the vids
I don't know if you use Xbox 360 or Xbox one but Xbox 360 doesn't have multiplayer on farm simulator 15 but if you have Xbox one I'm getting one for Christmas I was wondering if you'd like to make farm simulator videos together message me in this comment thank you

the woodchiper really really sucks. don't buy it. its not worth it. its a big pain in the ass. I just hope they really fix it to work better in farm sim 17 which is going to release oct 11.
