I find that the sensitivity of many of these modern receivers that I own is very similar . Other features vary of course . Amazingly the 330 is not far behind the bigger ones even on the telescopic . Interesting to compare the different ones on the same signal . I often do that and find little difference except in audio quality of course , where the larger ones come into their own .
Excellent video series Gilles, I have really been enjoying it. I am looking for a radio to replace an aging Eton E1/XM and this one might be it. I do wish it had an IF shift control, which is a feature I enjoy on the E1. But it has many other features the E1 does not. It will be in the bedroom at a desk and I value good audio for sure. I would be interested in how the audio sounds out of the headphone jack going into some amplified speakers if you can test that.

I'm curious if the voltage drop from a regular battery like a D Cell will affect how well you can receive signals, or does the S-2200x have some kind of built-in voltage regulation?

I have ordered Tecsun H-501x and I am happy for my choice.
I received my Tecsun H-501x on 16th August and am enjoying it. It's extensive radio yes expansive too.

nice navtex app, till now was connecting the pl990 with flgidi & wire, this is more easy, i have to say thanks for the app & video

In common I find 18650 perfect researchable batteries, however as I tell you now ... I agree.

Kindly let me know which decoding app you are using. I was using Morse Expert in my old phone. But it no longer works in newer Android versions.
