Blending Cinematic Studio Strings & Spitfire BBC SO Pro together - is this string orchestra heaven?!

- Today, I've written a concise demo in which I blended @cinematicstudioseries2985 Cinematic Studio Strings and @spitfireaudiollp BBC SO Pro to form a large string orchestra. I use CSS's close mics and BBC SO Pro's room mics to achieve my sound. I start with just the violins and then show you how I use different microphone positions and other techniques to combine these two string libraries.
I still need to sort out some negative delays, so there are a few lumps at the start of phrases!
Please comment if you have questions about this video or how I use Cinematic Studio Strings and Spitfire BBC SO Pro. I'm always happy to share my insights and answer your queries.

There's a way like this! It's a good experiment!
Done!!!!
Enjoy it!
Sounds awesome! Effective and elegant... That is, as long as your parts aren't moving much or very fast, at which point the variable CSS legato latency becomes an issue. I have and love BBCSO and CSS but with bigger more complex pieces, I would never have time to layer like this. Which is why I invested in VSL"s Duality Strings which does all the layering set up for you out of the box.
