  • The Øresundbron is a combine railway and motor way bridge across the Øresund strait between Denmark and Sweden. It is the longest combined road and rail bridge in Europe, running nearly 8 kilometers ( 5miles) from the swedish coast to the artificial Island peberholm in the middle of the strait.
    The link across the great belt is 18 km long and connects the eastern and western parts of Denmark. It consists of two bridges and a tunnel, and with a main spam of 1,624 metres. The east bridge was designed to have the longest suspension span in the world.
    It was constructed 1995 and finished 1999.
    Opened July 1,2000.
    If you enter the bridge you must to pay toll fee and it cost 390dkk, 460 sek (swedish) and 64 euro.
    Driving about 10-11 mins.
    It was my first time crossing these longest bridge after 7 years living in Denmark.
    It was quiet scary for me because of the strong winds and raining when we were crossing the bridge. But it was amazing experienced i had and the view astounding.
