Rocket Watts is one of the most UNDERRATED players in the country. The Michigan State commit has just popped onto the map since LaMelo Ball joined his prep school. At Spire Institute, Rocket and Melo been killing it.
We linked with Rocket to hear about his life story and what a normal day at Spire Institute is like for him. Rocket has been working crazy hard to get his body right so he can chase his dreams of making the NBA. The crazy thing is, Rocket might be BETTER than LaMelo. Kid legit doesn't miss.

As a Detroit HS AD and AAU team founder Ive watched all these very talented from young boys grow into dominant young men, make a decision this year to make their dreams very close to becoming a reality. Isaiah J. Jumpin out da gym. Myron G. is the prototype all round player. It aint no spot on floor where Rocket. M. Watts cant score. Drae is Mr. Fundamental. People dont even talk about Spire adding 6'7 Carrington M. from Detroit Renny. Very very talented young Black men bball players. All from da 313 and Yac town all D1 pro potential athletes.
So at the end of the day yeah Spire has Mello. But a pro millionaire is a pro millionaire. What we should care about is all these young men have an opportunity to drastically change their, their children, and grand children, etc. lifestyles. Im so proud of Mark cuz I know where he came from. You came a long way since yo Stewart MS dayz. But Im even prouder of where he is going. Knew he was special when he carried us to the 14U championship game in Waukeegon Illinois against 19 yr olds pretending to be 13 and 14 yr olds. Rock fk what the critic's and haters say. Go get it.
