In this video we go over the low top version of Li-Ning’s best basketball shoe right now - the Liren (Sharp Edge) 4 V2:
Cushion remains excellent with a full-length BOOM midsole. This is a very lightweight shoe that gives you a smooth transition from front to back. Adding to that, I could really feel the springiness on feet thanks to the support plate increasing bounciness. Traction works perfectly fine, although there’s no squeak against any court condition with the translucent outsole. If you trust the squeak more than anything, colorways that have a solid rubber outsole should be even more fun to play in. Torsional support, stability and lockdown are all decent, and it does have a nicely padded collar and tongue making this a complete package - at a NASTY cost unfortunately…

Just got these and they're pretty incredible so far. Uppers were a bit stiff at first but they've broken in nicely.

Great Review Tommy, 1 thing to note that the PR material from Lining wasn't very good at communicate on what material/ techs they used for the shoes, In some website they said that the plate is Carbon Fiber but its not, its PEBAX formed plate. Everything else is on point, anybody decided to go with the shoes invested in good cushion socks for a more comfortable ride. As for the profile as to most Lining, WOW shoes its pretty narrow in the forefoot so if you have wider feet, go Half size up like WOW.
1 last thing is the LACES, its NOT GOOD !! I love the color on my poisonous frog but it came undone couple of time during session so it's pretty annoying, good thing they included a 2nd thick normal laces in the box but its NOT IN THE COLOR matching with my shoes so just a small things.

i tried both liren 3, liren 3 v2, liren 4 and v2, and i feel that the liren 3v2,its the best shoe for dusty court, i dont like too much the liren 4 for dusty but i think the cushion its a little better

I got both and prefer the high top because there’s more cushion in the forefoot. It’s quite noticeable and therefore you’re higher off the ground. The low tops are more suited for shifty guards. While the low tops got some wicked colourways, can’t ignore some heat colourways with the high tops. But some of the pricing is just too damn high. Like WoW range.

This shoe doesn't have enough materials for a thick/high instep foot. go up to the next size else your gonna get weird folds around the eyelets and heel slippage.

They’re both elite level performers - All City 12 is good enough to me given their prices.
This feels bouncier though that might be a small difference maker.

I copped the Liren 3 V2 last week, ended up selling it after 2 hoop trainings 😢 the traction and cushion is very good but the upper materials kept digging to the side of my foot almost numbing it every after practice 😢

I planned to use it more to try to break it in but I can't focus on performing at my best due to the pain so I decided to let it go 😢 switching back to my Lebron 20 pair there weren't any issues

Hey thank you!! Tbh it doesn’t really cover / protect it much given the low cut, but lockdown and containment are good in general. For a low top, it’s really not bad.

@@kevindurantsburneraccount1819 808 3 Ultra V2 is a great option to me if you owned the previous version. And then TWO WXY V4 is a good one as a mid top.
Please compare 3 v2 vs 4 v2. If you compare the above products with only two types of fit and grip, which product do you recommend?
3 V2. There is a tradeoff, the fit became tighter / more secure. Comfort might have taken a hit but lockdown was improved. It depends on which type you prefer, also I think getting a solid rubber outsole colorway would be better than translucent.
3 V2 = better universal choice; 4 V2 = better for elite players.

Usually just a brush, sometimes with some sneaker cleaner - tbh a lot of my hoop shoes, I just let them be I mean they’re meant to be worn. Especially like the recent Harden’s, those are almost impossible to clean once the upper gets dirty 😂

I have the black colorway and they still squeak even though they have a translucent outsole. Why do those squeak but not the other translucent ones. I did slip out pretty bad on a really dusty court though.

Hey. My single pick from there would be the Liren 4 (regular high top). But as mentioned that has a lot to do with your playing style / preference. Liren 4 V2 I see it a great shoe for elite guards, 3V2 is great all-around & Yushuai 18 I’ve been really loving it too.
