OBÓZ NARCIARSKI 2022

On Saturday, late evening, January 15, 2022, I am going to the railway station in Bydgoszcz. I meet my friends there. We are going together to Szklarska Poreba for a ski camp. Lots of luggage, but no one is complaining. We take them in our hands and go to the platform. There, a moment of waiting for the arrival of the train.
He came. We pack into the rented 7 compartments in the carriage no. 12. It is important to get in well. The train in Wrocław is divided into three sets, ie to Szklarska Poręba, Polanica Zdrój and Kraków. We are 45 people and only two entrances. It's not lightly. We drive.
Luggage arranged on the shelves, but also under the sofas. In the end, you can talk and say hi. Long time no see. There were also lost luggage somewhere.
Two dogs, Hosza and Buba, are going with us. They have their tickets and seats bought. Rafał, the organizer of the camp, provides them with regular walks. The dachshund Buba is old and deaf. He prefers to rest with us.
The journey was spent admiring the views outside the window, having conversations and falling asleep.
We have arrived. Now the action of transferring the luggage to the bus we take to the hotel.
Olimp Retro is part of the old Olimp hotel at ul. 1 Maja 64. Most of us lived in this building. It was intended entirely for us so it was at ease.
All we have to do is allocate the rooms, collect the keys, bring our luggage and go to breakfast, which is already waiting for us.
We have meals in the main building of the Olimp hotel, to which we take shortcuts through a forest. On the way, we pass a place for a bonfire. There is a plan to use it one evening.
During this week of camp we tried to be in a different ski resort every day.
On the second day of our stay, we went to Świeradów Zdrój.
He greeted us wet, but it didn't take long to get to the ticket office and go up. It's good that there is a gondola there because we would get terribly wet on the sofas.
Later it got better and it was possible to record a little panorama and the descent from the top, which we did.
On the third day of the camp, the mood was good. We were leaving Szrenica in Szklarska Poręba.
Only two slopes, Śnieżynka and Puchatek, were open, but we had a good time.
The weather was perfect for skiing and for skiing. After skiing, you had to remember to return the ski passes and recover the deposit. We forgot about it sometimes.
On the fourth day, the campers went to Karpacz. I didn't go with them. I stayed at the hotel.
Thanks to Piotr's recordings, we can see the skiers having fun on the slope.
In the evening, after returning and having dinner, it was time for a bonfire.
There were foams for baking for children, and for all sausages, bread and hot tea from a thermos. Despite the low temperature, it was -7 degrees Celsius, everyone liked it.
We left for Zieleniec at 8:00 am. We were supposed to drive for two and a half hours and due to snowstorms, fogs and trucks unable to drive up the hill, we arrived at the place at 3:00 PM. We have 3 hours left to go skiing. We had to come back to the hotel for the half-board we had ordered at 21:00.
So we changed quickly, ran to the ticket office to get our ski passes and up. To ski.
After all, some ski footage was made.
And this is the end of our skiing trip. I didn't record all days because we went to the same ski resorts twice.
Buses, with luggage, we went to the train station. The squad departs at 21:00. While waiting for the train, we took a group photo in front of the station. Just get on the train and off you go.
And already in Bydgoszcz. It is 4:05. We say goodbye to each other, packages in hand and home.
