Use magazines that you already have or purchase some that speak to your heart as they are beautiful for using as focal points for collages and ephemera! I agree ☝️ The music was very relaxing and unobtrusive. Sometimes I find myself wanting to mute the sound of some videos but I wouldn’t be able to hear the instructions.
YES!! That singer has the most beautiful smile night voice....lilting and soothing...Fantastic use of mags! I have quite a collection,yet find it so challenging to cut them up!!! It's like stepping into cool water in the shallow end of the pool....until you y happy get to..' Come on in! The water's Fine kids lol! 🤗

Nazzy, I am always amazed how your artistic eye can focus on the tiniest of detail and make something beautiful from even the edges of an advertisement. I see images from magazines all the time that I adore but have no idea how to use them. Thank you for the plethora of ideas.
aww you took me back to my girlhood when I would cut Mum's & aunty's mags to make paper dolls & clothing wardrobes for them & stick them in an exercise book.....many many many years ago...yours are lovely

I’ve been watching a lot of vintage junk journals with inking, lace, and vintage images, and they are beautiful, but they kind of all look the same. I really love the fresh take you have given to your journals by combining modern and vintage styles. Beautiful work. ❤️
I haven’t started using magazine pages but you have definitely inspired me!
Very inspiring Nazy. This is interesting because I cut floral images, words, patterns and solid colors out of magazines and make collages with them in a Composition notebook. And I glue the pages together to make them thicker. I just do it as a simple creative outlet. Very fun.
I do this all the time with Flow, DD and Frankie mags :) Love seeing how other people create theirs!

A while back I had quite a lot of magazines that I often used when making cards, however as I no longer make cards I threw the magazines out.( yeah I know ...foolish). I loved your video and your creations with the magazine photos. I'll be collecting magazines again for collaging and journals.

I love this and everything else you do! Besancon caught my eye-I have relatives there. Beautiful-the French love flowers. They actually rate cities/towns on their gardens (both public and private) and instead of stars (like for hotels or Michelin restaurants) towns get flowers. Besançon I believe was a trois fleurs ville.

Do you put the page in sideways? Do you connect 2 pages so that they form one full page in a journal? Please if you can, link a video of your journal pages using these? TYFS! I always love what she creates. But I gasped when she cut the "H" off of the beautiful Heavenly scrap. I thought it was so beautiful and would've tried to keep it in one piece. But what she created with it was beautiful as well! Watching these videos is so relaxing. I'm unable to make things like this right now but as soon as I can I'm gonna start making these for my daughters

How do you get them to be matte and not real shiny?
I saw in another video where the used matte gesso remove the glossiness from magazine photos. I am just learning about all this do Zi have not tried it though.

I love your ideas! It is very sad that Country Gardens has gone out of business. I received a subscription of that magazine for 15 or more years. They just notified me and sent me Magnolia instead. :(

Question....can we use magazine images? I thought we could not use without written permission from magazine company due to copyright laws.
As I understand, You can use them for yourself. Just not to sell.
