Bring back nature in Poland

Given the alarming state of our ecosystems, it is no longer sufficient to protect the nature we have left. We also need to restore nature that has been degraded.
In this episode, Greens/EFA MEPs Jutta Paulus and Hannah Neumann visit the Ina river, a tributary to the Odra river in Northern Poland. In an EU-funded project, Rewilding Oder Delta together with the association Friends of the Ina and Gowienica Rivers (TPRIiG) placed a number of stone-gravel structures in the riverbed to improve the river’s flow and enhance its biodiversity, water quality and resilience to climate change.
