Theres a theory that's Kazumi decided to die by her husband's Hand , She was supposed to kill Heihachi but during their journey he never turned evil but instead he was a loving husband and a good father , Kazumi eventually realize that her clan was in fact the root of all evils and that Kazuya has it too , so she probably wanted to rid off herself and all the Devil blood
