It isn't normal my friend. I have 5 other phones which work perfectly in HDR videos. What you are saying is slightly 5-10% brightness difference but here the colors were 100% different. However, the issue was already highlighted by us to Lava before launch, but since we are reviewing phones, it was necessary to point.
@@TechDekhoji well I don't i guess I am misunderstanding something because The brightness of the screen can get darker when you turn on the HDR function on the PC or phone screen and this issue only occurs when SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) converts to HDR (High Dynamic Range). This is because a display interprets an HDR and an SDR acts differently when you watch HDR videos on HDR display. Hope you find something relevant. And that top middle IR blast looking thing is actually an IR blaster not a proximity sensor.
