S/o to my competitors for making this such a fun game for real, If I got to pick people to hoop against as a first video back it would be Moon and Treal because of how they can truly test me on the court. Thats what makes this game so easy to obsess over, the constant room for improvement. These two dudes give that to me. As for hooping with Nathan again, this just show anything is possible. We were rival in high school, roommate in college & friends to this day. Don't worry about the hate comments Nate, they only seen your first game this season 😂👀

Moon struggles to guard stronger players that can fight against whatever direction he's hedging them to on the way to the hoop. It's just good strategy to limit his defensive possession and save his legs for offense. Treal is a DAWG and he saves the game by prolonging it, arguably nearly as valuable on defense as most other player's offense in tag team 1v1s---points against won't tell the story w/o defensive possessions & opponent shot quality

Yeah I think the same. Moon the type to tell you to play d but soon as he needs to play he switches off so easily. It was the same the last 1v1 his team played it’s like dude if you can’t guard a good offensive player just say that, don’t act tough when players switch out when you do the same thing

Respect to Friga who is clearly still working his way back and his shot is still not where he wants it. However he has a deep enough bag coupled with a strong will to be able to effectively fight through. A lot of players (especially younger ones) would get down on themselves and be dejected. Friga instead adjusts by using a bevy of pump fakes, hesitations, and post moves to get himself easy buckets.
Now this was an episode that showed some skill! Moon vs Friga lived up to the hype.
Would’ve preferred this just Moon n Friga cus they were the obvious stars in the game😂

The first possesions u looked real nice, smooth with perfect pace, its just the middy wasnt falling and later on u looked a lil bit sloppy forcing the drive in some possessions without looking for the middy no more! The thing about Frig and Nathan, is their patience, and not forcing anything. They both get to their spots, and never rush anything. Friga doesn’t have an elite handle, and neither does Nathan, but they’re patient and take their time in getting their shots. As someone who isn’t quick, explosive, and doesn’t have a good handle, I admire their slow paced game, and the footwork they have. A lot of times that’s going to win you games, more than someone who can hit tough shots, and relies on being hot. It’s like Luka and Jokic. Those guys aren’t explosive or fast, but they’re always under control, and patient with the ball. The ability to slow down faster and more athletic defenders is a gift that not many people have.
should have let treal have one of those last shots. he was hard to guard downhill and had the energy and momentum from those clutch defensive possessions. GREAT bump tho!!

Great game from both teams. Lots of intensity. Glad Friga pulled it out in the end, because it would have been a shame if Moon had won it on that crazy missed 4 dribble call at 26-28. This is why you guys have video and should actually look at it in such situations. Moon dribbled three times, then had his gather, lost the ball, on the turn, got it back, dribbled it again and then even took an extra two steps. This was the craziest travel I have ever seen not called :D
Not to put shade on Moon though, he was competing and it was anybodys game. This was THE essential 50:50 game to me in this tournament thus far.

@@TheKillakel85 does not matter if he knows how to use strength to his advantage, which he does. His game was never just about explosiveness, it was always about when to fake out the opponent or when to feint, then stop on a dime and shoot.
friga needs to learn a spin move, he always gets the guys going downhill with him on his hip and then just stops and shot fakes, if he would spin back he'd have wide open layups

Good ass game by Friga and tough shots from Nate as well. Tre really a good defender if he just kept going to the basket when Nate was guarding him will definitely have more points, I feel as in watching these games a lot of players settle for 3s way too much when they aren’t consistent shooters; as you see with friga he was doing a lot of everything and in a way with Moon too. Nate is a shooter so him shooting 3s isn’t as bad since he isn’t much of a 1v1 ball heavy handler but can make good shots off the dribble when needed. Overall best game so far in this season.
