Charlie Rivel was certainly one of the greatest circus clowns of all time. With an act with no language, he made an universal act. His long evolutions around a chair including the part where he lifts the chair over his head (like shown in his statue in Barcelona), always were punctuated with the characteristic howling. His shows always were all finished with a very well interpreted guitar or accordion tune. Please do dig in local TV archives for more tapes of this great artist. Thank you!

el mejor payaso, si es que eso se puede catalogar. Lo que es lamentable leyendo ciertos comentarios es que hasta esto, la sonrisa de un niño, querais politizar. Charlie no era catalan ni español, era una persona del mundo, con el tremendo poder divino de sacarnos una sonrisa hasta de las situaciones mas tragicas. Eso es ser una gran persona, un gran hombre, demas calificativos etnicos, sobran.Doy gracias a mi padre por hacermelo conocer.
