I am a cool kid by no means. Since I was 19 I have done HVAC install (99% duct only) pogey boats/fast food, commercial and 4 years of work on an air force base housing. I’m 35 and have always wore what some call a newspaper boy hat. You rock Doc! Thank you for your words.

I am well known in my family as the person who shares songs that make everyone cry lol. I love pretty much every genre of music, ones that make me dance around the house while eating peanut butter out of the jar, to the ones that make me sit on the couch sobbing with a box of Kleenex. I sincerely enjoy your take and explanations of all of the ones that you have reviewed so far. In another comment I had suggested one that is heart wrenching but would like to suggest a song from an artist who is not well known named Justin Hines. I love all of his music but wanted to suggest to you the song Say What You Will. Justin has a rare genetic disorder call Larson's syndrome but that is only what you see on the outside. He has a heart of gold and a gift that he shares through his music. Hope you have the opportunity to check it out.

Not knocking the songs you review as the do help you show us about ourselves as the singer / songwriter / band delve in to various topics that illustrate these facets of who we are. However, many seem more than bit dark or very dark. I think a great song to provide an important uplift message is "Ain't Nothing Wrong With That" by Robert Randolph & The Family Band.

I'd love to see you react to the new Nothing More album, Carnal. The way they interlace interludes, using the words of Alan Watts, with their original music and lyrics, is absolutely incredible.
