A pro recently told me to try practicing mainly on the lead foot, with the back foot back away from the ball. And lean the sternum a little over the ball.
Helped me fly the ball to the pin a little easier. Similar to the feet together I think but ensuring almost all weight is on the lead foot.
    Fair call?

Another good drill to warm up with is keeping a wrapped up towel under your armpits to stay connected. And to always roll your back foot onto your toes as you finish.

When you watch the LPGA game, you quickly realize that their real strength vs the men, is wedges and putting. They play so many 365 - 410 Par 4s, that average and long hitters have wedges in their hands all day - and this is where you truly see the separation in the field. I even came to the conclusion last year that I think the top 50 ladies would beat the top 50 men from 100 yards and in. The men do face that crazy long ruff on US Open type courses that the women don't often face so that is a specialty shot which is almost unique to the Pro men's game that the ladies would not be practicing. Annika could still come back and within 6 months would be Top 10 - she is incredible.
