About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

Still the best and most realistic depiction of what taking the subway feels like
3:32 lol
Really?
Wish the show was still on
Yes sir 👏 🙌! What was the name of the episode 😀
So true 😭😭
Elaine’s faces in the subway were the best 😂😂😂
Yep. I remember seeing a behind the scenes interview she said that by this scene she was highly pregnant and was very nausea. She thought shed throw up. The faces r really how she felt.
@@rrm41 no kidding 😱 She is an amazing actress. That Seinfeld team had a chemistry impossible to repeat nowadays. They had lots of fun on doing the show.
Aaah yes.....life without mobile phones.....you could'nt even call that you wouldn't make it to the wedding! 😄
She is such a great comedy actress - absolutely amazing!!
This show was so ahead of its time.
What do you think the 80´s and 90´s were? prehistory? You may be less than 15 with that stupid repetitive comment.
I don’t think you understand what that term actually means. Being ahead of its time would mean that it did something that people wouldn’t have understood at that point. And people do now. But Seinfeld was actually loved intensely when it was airing. It was very loved and relevant in its time.
HEH! Yeah, the dialogue in the first two minutes talks about what’s happening nowadays
Elaines rage stuck on the train is EXACTLY how i feel
This, people, is how an Emmy winning performance looks like.
I like how this episode ends with Jerry and Kramer having it good,
While Elaine and George are left disappointed
Elaine just had bad luck. George, on the other hand, lied his way into his predicament. And he wasn't thinking with his brain, either.
It's the Nathan's trip for me! I can't go to Coney Island without at least getting the fries!
One of the best Seinfeld scenes ever 😂😂😂
This feels like she entered The Twilight Zone for a while.
4:44 - Brief relief then pure mind rage. 😅😅😅 She delivered that perfectly.
*MOTHER-* (inaudible bleeps)
That Grin from Elaine @ 4:57 is a culmination of ALL the bloopers from that particular scene! Julia really does love to cuss and she has said in many interviews that she is Proud of her choices of vocabulary! 🤣🤣
❤❤👏👏👍🏽
People with no internal monologue have no idea why Elaine's voiceover is happening on the train hehe
This might be my favorite Seinfeld clip of all - thanks for posting!
i just realized the women on the subway is in total recall
The real estate agent in the original Ghostbusters, selling the old firehouse.
Two weeks.
Just googled it.
The Total Recall "Two weeks" lady was Priscilla Allen (RIP).
The "woman with Elaine" (and Ghostbusters real estate agent) is Rhoda Gemignani (still kickin at 82).
They do look and sound very similar though.
@@nthgth Rhoda Gemignani was on Alot of Comedy TV Shows (Who's the Boss, The Jeffersons, Seinfeld, Differen' Strokes, The Bob Newhart Show Etc...) 🙂
I was stuck on the subway in NYC yesterday. I can’t tell you how accurate this was. 😂
Julia has aged like a fine bottle of wine. She just gets better with age
when you have a several billions dollar wine cellar it might get easier
Bro she's hotter today than she was in Seinfeld, how is that possible? Is she a vampire?
@@ErikCartman😂 So very true!
"No I mean what's ironic mean?"
I've never been to New York City. I've always been worried about getting lost on the subway.
At first, taking the subway can be confusing and overwhelming, but once you get the hang of it and understand how subway maps work, it’s actually pretty simple and so convenient.
I went in 2000 and was scared something bad happened to me, I preferred to walk, I was young and from South America, really heard a lot of bad things so I was really scared LOL I walked and walked in Manhattan. I took a bus once and the bus driver was so mean to me and shouted at me because I didn´t understand the yellow sign on the floor, so I kept walking the next days I was there. Really I found rude people there.
People are really nice and give directions in a pinch.
Elaine Elaine is a trip 😂😂😂😂
This is one of the scenes that I randomly think about from time to time lol
Crazy relatable moment 😅😂🤣
4:46
“MOTHERF****** ****!!!
JERRY: *(dancing the plush monkey around)* “Look at what we won! You want him?”
ELAINE: “Get that out of my face.”
ROFLOL
And her subsequently trying to hide her smile right after.
That episode deserved an award for both writing and acting. Top class comedy.
It's one of the best scenes ever
one of the best scenes everrrrrr
You don’t know what crowded feels like until you’ve ridden a subway in china. It’s insane.
Absolutely classic. JLD is a major talent. I think they tapped this scene for the "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" bit where Dee has to ride the bus
That’s what I was thinking too
@@chelioss8567that started from 2005 Seinfeld ended by 2000... It's the other way round... This is OC ... But both are good
4:46 *MOTHER-* (bleep intensifies)
0:30 - IT'S THE DISGUISE FROM TOTAL RECALL!
The gentleman to Elaine's left is Peter Mehlman, one of the writers on the show.
Please: Can you be a little more descriptive? Or maybe put a timestamp? Thank you.
@@jujujupiter2:23 It's the man with the grey hair, standing in front of the man with the beard. Seen from the viewer, he is standing on Elaine's right.
@@rattus3102 Wow thanks! they may be had a lot of fun filming this, knowing that, LOL
Just noticed how pretty is that woman in front of Elaine while she freaks out.
😂😂😂 I haven't seen that in years!
Seinfeld's breakout year
This and the car park episode are my favourites
The Elaine Inner Monologue 💀
I feel like Elaine when the train breaks in my city.
I've been in a BART in Canada
A monorail in Seattle
And a Tram in Disneyland.. .
But you will NEVER get me in a New York subway.
BART in Canada ??? Must of been high in San Francisco.
@@narajuna 🤔 Hmmmmmm. It was my teenage years. I thought that's what they called it up there.
Everybody loves Julia .... so good actress 👏
Pretty mediocre on SNL.
I know that pain
I love the idea of a guys calling himself FDR!
0:06 I feel like this is the whole show in one scene
"..MOTHERF*%$-!!"
I don’t care who you are THIS 3:54 is a waking nightmare.
Elaine. ❤ Very good acting. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Omg she's so funny!!!☕🤓👍
Elaine was so beautiful, funny, sweet and full of life in the early seasons. They kinda ruined her later on.
Great early episode.
Elaine 😊
3:32
Elaine: motherf*cker at 4:46 LOL
LMMFAO 😅 😂🤣
Raj Thackeray should read the Eisenhower system again, but his points about maharashtra's corrupt politicians are valid. All the contractors and politicians linked with mumbai to goa highway should be put in jail, even those silly activists who block such projects
the dude who really stinks is one of the show writers lol
Elaine ❤
Imagine this in 2023....oh wait😂😅🎉
Jajajaja there is no He. 😅
"There is no HE?.....so uhm....who's getting married??" 😅😅
Elaine actress was pregnant i this episode
NBC was foolish not to offer an "Elaine" spinoff to Julia Louis-Dreyfus. This "Elaine Soliloquy" demonstrated Julia's ability to carry five hilarious minutes of the show without the rest of the ensemble. I can't remember when anyone else other than Jerry did five minutes alone during the entire run of the show. Fortunately, Julia went on to bigger and better things.
She was the least talented and funny of the main four.
that & the classic gold medal run
@@ConstantChinnerwriting is another matter but in terms of performing Jerry is obviously the worst of the four. I might agree that George and Kramer showed more talent on the show but in hindsight it’s obvious she has the most versatility when you see what other roles they’ve done since Seinfeld. The other three were always playing characters so similar to their roles in Seinfeld
@@PlasposJerry had the tools
When will you ret@rds learn that not every character deserve a show of their own?
Dam, this old lady predicted the future.
so maybe it was god .. who said .. no ring no wedding
Best subway ride in New York
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love Seinfeld, but this is more like a nightmare.
I listened to the commentary on this episode, Julia Louis-Dreyfus doesn't like her performance, especially the voice over.
Well you know what they say, “you’re your harshest critic.”
That's fair, but I think I speak for most _Seinfeld_ fans when I say it really worked perfectly
0:39 I thought women want equality. 😀
Only when it suits them 😂 . Don't see any women fighting for equal job opportunities in the fire department. "Company ceo? We want equality"
@@rangerswing🤌🏼
@@rangerswingI doubt the same qualifications for the strenuous job of a firefighter applying to being a CEO.
@@rangerswing?? There are a lot of firewomen these days

BAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Guess it was funnier back in the day
It still is funny....
