    Dear Sire
Kindly i would like to ask about calibration curve , in the beginning let me say i made 6 strands 1, 2, 5 , 10 , 50& 100 ppb from Cu & Fe the main purpose is to check the Cu & Fe in BHC ( BRINE HEATER CONDENSER), when these strands injected i the ICPOES the calibration coefficient for CU & Fe were 0.999 & 0.981 in respectively , so its accepted like this to complete the test or Fe also must be 0.999. Pls inform me what i have to do in this case

+ahmed massoud Hi. You can use curves with different correlation coefficients (r or r²). You've used different wavelengths and were able to detect 2 different elements, so there will be 2 different r (or r²) values. You don't need have the same value because they're not the same curves, they were made using different parameters only using the same experimental conditions.
      Bye
