This week was a bit of a tough one as straight after the birth of our second baby, I unfortunately had to stay in hospital for a whole week further delaying new mum Jess heading home to see her firstborn Hunter.

Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a traveling family who spent 2020 self-converting a van before moving in full-time to drive around our home country of Australia. We have now completed our lap, said our goodbyes, and resumed full-time travel before we wait for our second baby to arrive.

❤ This episode brought tears to my eyes. As a nana to 3, I couldn’t have imagined a better way to have your toddler meet her new sibling. You did all the right things, greeting Hunter alone before introducing her new brother was so wise. As a mother myself, I know how hard it was to be apart that long from your toddler, so I cried too!

Remember to be kind to yourself Jess, a very long painful labour followed by an emergency C-section can be really traumatic so look after yourself emotionally along with physically

Wow, 66 year old guy here that never had kids. This was so emotional for me seeing Hunter and Koa together. The bond was instant...so beautiful. Yes I did have a few tears to shed as i watched. Well done Mum and Dad.

This video made me so emotional, cried through half of it. It reminded me of the time when my baby sister was born. I cried as well! I was 10 when my sister was born. I remember getting a call from my dad when I was staying with a friend that I had a baby sister, and feeling so excited that I had a new little best friend ❤️

I really appreciate that you guys kept pointing out that a C-section is a major surgery. As Americans, we're taught that it's no big deal and women are shamed for not instantly recovering. Reminders like this help combat that taught instinct.
Jess actually had an emergency C section and yes it is a major surgery which does have risks.

This made me so emotional! My littlest love is 3 months old and my oldest love is 2.5 years. It reminded me of when I first got to see my oldest boy after giving birth and how big he seemed all of a sudden. He just grew up overnight and it was so overwhelming.
