Yes, for sure. I did this video as some crafters have been told that it can be done on these types of bottles. As my video clearly shows, it cannot be done.
I did this to show others who had told me that some crafters had been mentioning in craft groups that they've used etching cream on these types of bottles. It was merely a request. Thanks for your input Ziya.
Lady please, that's glass etching. You actually need Ferric Chloride for copper and other metals.
I'm confused, how is glass etching cream suppose to etch metal? Maybe I missed another video that explains how this is suppose to work
No. It's not at all. To etch stainless steel, she should've used ferric chloride.
is there a part 2?
You can't use glass etching cream on metal. It isn't SUPPOSED to work.
Note to self Glass etching paste doesn’t work on metal
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for that video. I’m looking forward to the next video with armour etch.

Yes, for sure. The video was in response to a viewer question to prove that etching cream doesn't work on this type of stainless water bottle. :)
Glass etch will do nothing on metal
You didn’t use the proper etching cream for stainless steel I’ve used dollar stores before you cannot use glass Etching cream
There is a coating on the metal bottle that is messing with your results
Yes, for sure. I did this video as some crafters have been told that it can be done on these types of bottles. As my video clearly shows, it cannot be done.
@@stormlover1962 i think you would have to sand it first rought up the surface you wish to etch. at least been my go with aluminum
No she's using glass etching for a stainless steel bottle that was the first mistake.
