Does the Aero Precision upper with a part of the top pic rail omitted have m-lok slots at the top (12 o’clock position), or are there 2 different upper shown in the vid?
The Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x and 1-8x AR-BDC3 second-focal plane optics are well-designed but Vortex ought to ditch - like yesterday - those distracting and totally unnecessary projections pointing toward the center from 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. Downgrades an otherwise excellent design to only good.
@@makky-kat3719 - You like those big heavy "arrows" pointing towards the center bull's-eye? Suit yourself, but I dislike them and find them completely unnecessary. Primary Arms rocks as it is!
@@GeorgiaBoy1961 On the FFP model, at 1x, in fairly bright light, yeah I find the reticle a little hard to pick up quickly. Good for you if you don't have an issue with it though, because I see them selling for remarkably cheap used.
Low light performance is definitely a con for this one. As with many scopes, that's a lot of what you unlock with premium offerings like the Razor HDs.
This channel is an unsung gem. I cannot wait to see it blow up. Also, have you seen the Burris RT 6?
I've found that the turret adjustment is a little spongy. But it's very accurate once set.

A big fan of Vortex optics but the upper line PST VIPER series; save the bucks and buy the PST 1-6x better glass.
Have been using it on a 12ga shotgun for months without any issues.

It's especially funny (and a little ironic) to me that the FFP Primary Arms 1-6 that would really benefit from this exact change doesn't have it.
