Absolutely beautiful testimony! I was also a slave to alcohol and drugs for a while, but God brought me out of that hell into His glorious and loving new life with Him. No one is ever so lost that Jesus can’t call them and bring them to salvation.❤️

Tim, what do I do? Ive walked with God for 4 years and I've never had victory over substances. Initially it was dxm, then it spiraled to psychedelics then it plateaud on Marijuana. I can't seem to stop smoking Marijuana to save my life, I know it's sin, and I hate doing it but It's like i can't. What should I do about it?

This is where religion leads. A great feeling, a changed life, changed desires, “God did something to me” I must be saved. Any religion in the world can purport the same religious experience, repackaged. This man made no mention of simply understanding Christ’s finished work, and placing his faith in that alone. This is a testimony of an experience, not a salvation.

He's talking about how God changed his life through the gospel. He just was all over the place and forgot to mention certain things. It happens to all of us sometimes. Tim is a very faithful teacher. He preaches Christ crucified for sinners and justification by faith alone.

There was nothing in this testimony that led me to believe tim was saved. The entire thing was about how his life has changed. Could have been from any religion in the world. No mention of Christ's sacrifice and she'd blood to save him.

Tim is a powerful witness for Christ, just watch some of his preaching videos. It won't take you long to see how powerful his testimony is, he is strong in Christ.
@@Hevel378I think he feels how some of us feel, how that Tim's preaching tends to promote the listener to focus on their works-what they can and are doing. Though his preaching is exhorting, I get a "vibe" of fear-based Christianity that can put people in bondage thinking they're not doing enough or "living the right life".

So he just admited that he thinks salvation is a" profit" for good behavior, instead of a gift as the bible says.

Jesus is real.I thank Him every day for saveing me.I was an Irish "catholic" alcoholic my entire adult life.Jesus saved me and took away my desire for drinking.Pastor Tim seems to be very genuine and I trust his teaching.
I met Tim and he's not angry at all he's real humble and all his teachings r backed up with Scripture.he doesn't need your $ or a big million Doller church to give the Gospel. Its not good to judge when u don't even know a persons heart. This is not the way Christians r sappose to be we ought to love one another not bash one another

The presence of The Living God, through Christ Jesus, Him crucified, in your life, is beyond the greatest pleasure imaginable. People think that turning from our worldly pleasures is a sacrifice. It si a release. I have taken a great variety of drugs and had a similar lifestyle (if not life) as Brother Tim. In fact parts of his testimony gave me goosebumps. The great thing is, everybody can have it, the sad thing is, few want it. I love my Lord Jesus and He loves us all. God is great not hollow!

Jesus says to come to Him, "Just As I Am". Praise God. He will do the necessary tidying up. God ain't finished with me or Tim or any of us, yet. But Jesus promises to bring to completion the work that He began. Yippee!!!

I read The Gospel According To Jesus while I was at Liberty University. I used it for a John paper in my John class. Great book!
Pastor Tim seems to be very sincere and humbled by a real experience to me.My testimony is simmilar..irish catholic alcoholic..believe me you dont know that Jesus is real when you are raised "secular catholic".But it is real and it is the only thing that truly matters.

What he did was made possible for me to go to haven and loves me more than I can image. In Matthew 7 13 to 14 You can enter God's kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few find it. Joel Osteen is watering down the gospel in a way because he never talk about negative stuff and how it is hard.
The forth stanza of "And Can it Be That I Should Gain" has been on my channel as my testimony. A true regenerate can relate to it.

@MusicCityMiracle If you are asking whether or not Tim Conway is a Calvinist, the answer is yes, he is.
Tim has a good testimony on how the Lord saved him, however I disagree with some of his teaching that say's a person can lose his salvation. I am also leary of someone who preaches on CZcams and is afraid of having what the teach challenged by turning off all comments on there videos. Same thing with people posting Paul Washer's teachings and turning off comments for fear of being challenged.

first one must feel guilty of sin and asked forgiveness. that is the holy spirit job. repentance is action and we can always pray to have courage strength to do it. Tim Conway is no lair. Narrow is the way to haven. God is love and judgement. Joel Osteen is sinning by not preaching the gospel and there are pastors in hell who did not preach gospel because they worried about there job or about the numbers.

You hear this trope a lot from Christians, "I used to seek nothing but pleasure and found this pursuit empty. Then I turned to Christ." Turning to delusions about the afterlife are just more of the same. Less physically debilitating than drugs and binging? No question. But STILL hollow. It's too bad Tim doesn't see a.) the falsehood of the dichotomy between the two; that he's still pursuing vapid pleasure through his faith, and b.) that life simply isn't about pleasures, of the flesh OR spirit.

I'm sorry, it was completely ignorant of me to assume the origin of the Catholic Church; thank you for the correction. Even if it did begin in the best of intentions, I do believe most of the Catholic churches of today do way more harm than if they we're torn down.

I don't trust Tim Conway. He often uses the ESV translation which gerrymanders entire verses out of the main text and in to the footnotes. If it's ok for Tim Conway to use a translation which does that, it would then be ok for the rest of us to simply cross-out any other verses which we don't like.

Your misinterpreting the word "Church."
The Hebrew word for Church is "k'nessiah," which would've been derived from the initial texts. K'nessiah in Hebrew means "Assembly" or "Congregation," which means that "his Church" actually meant "his people." Any true follower (aka person of Christ) has not strayed, and still is under the protection of Christ.
Our word for Church simply refers to a building. Just because a Church is labeled "Catholic" doesn't mean all under it's roof are His people.

Remember a testimony is how God worked, not stating that someone must read John MacArthur to be saved. It is the word of God that sanctifies, not anyone else.

It is sad that he didnt rediscover the Church Jesus started , the Catholic church. There is still time because the influx of Protestant pastors and theologians who are flocking to the Catholic church based on the Early Church Fathers.
Yea I don't likem either he preached about on divorced and remarriage. He lied and gave some regular modern day version that you can stay in your second marriage while either spouse has a existing spouse from their one and only covenant marriage which is adultery according to romans chapter 7!
